• Her green dress swirled and danced around her legs.

    It was as if Mina's excitement was echoed in the elegance of her Low V neck cut dress, with lime green tint and beautiful red jewels on the waist.

    "I can't believe it's today!" She turned to her friend, Helena. Helena smiled in return "Just calm down okay?" Mina looked like Helena just muttered something cursed "How can I?! It's the big night! I finally get to do it!" She referred to her part as playing the main character "Venus" in the school original play "Lilbius Intuition"

    Helena could only laugh softly to herself. There was no stopping this girl's happiness. "Are you sure your ready? You've only been practicing for a week. You're not nervous?" Helena asked her friend, slightly concerned.

    "Why would I be? I'm the main character! Nothing could be better!" Mina happily replied but Helena knew her best friend since kindergarten. She knew when Mina was nervous. There were obvious signs. Extreme Cheerfulness to disguise her fright. Her cheerful sentences ended with shakiness. When she lifted her arms, she kept her upper arm and elbow to herself while her fore arm was lifted. It acted as a shield. She kept her gaze but her eyes were shaky.

    "What do you normally do to get rid of your stage fright?" Helena questioned, ignoring Mina's statement. Mina just had to give up. There was no escaping Helena's intelligent observing.

    "I normally just act as if I'm reading the story and make it good as I would want the characters to." Mina replied all the while twiddling her fingers. "Well then that's easy to fix. Just tell me the story."

    "Well. There was once a super nova named Feselion. He was alone in a galaxy 20 billion light years in the negative world. He was lonely and felt abandoned because all the other super novas had long since died out." Mina took a breath.

    "Feselion decided he should expand his light little by little ever 10 years like a slow inch worm. He eventually tired so he took a small breather near a space rock. The Space rock was actually an unknown phenomena. It exploded into a super nova. The first ever made from an unknown substance. It looked real and exploded like it was real but you couldn't feel it. It was from the real world. Feselion asked the nova her name. She said she had no name. So Feselion named her himself. Her name in Ferganstulian is based on her beauty and is translated as "The Consort of Blue". He named her Venus. She was named the consort of blue because Feselion was blue and began to fall in love with Venus who was green."

    The Intercom speaker interrupted "Ladies and Gentleman, the show is about to begin. Please return to your seats and actors, prepare for the stage."

    Helena looked at her friend "You're going to be fine. Just remember, relay the story in your head. I'm pretty sure I can get the rest from your acting but you have to make sure to tell me in your mind or I won't understand anything."

    Mina nodded and made her way to the edge of the curtains, awaiting for the show.

    The lights dimmed and the actors (including Mina) began o the stage. They rose into the air about a story high with a hook in each of the actors' holsters.

    Then the story began and soon got to the point where Mina left off.

    After he named her, Venus asked that he used it often because she liked it so much and rejoiced in her new identity. IT showed she was something more than something unknown.

    Mina's dress glided behind her gracefully as she twirled in ballet like form in the air.

    When Feselion asked why none of his lights could reach her, she said she was in the real world. Feselion asked her what the real world was like. She told him, he was a beautiful creature. He had arms and legs, hands and feet, a gorgeous face, with beautiful black hair and he was wearing a blue outfit made for kings, princes and boys in the present.

    The Boy who played Feselion spoke his words with passion, and moved so fast in his movements, he was only a blur of blue.

    When Venus asked what she looked like in the negative world, Feselion said she was only a ball or different hues of green that flew out like slow moving, soft, see through whips. Venus much more liked her world and invited Feselion to it and extended her hand. In his world, Feselion grabbed the light and brought himself to her garden of green. It was different from the blue and black around him in space. They danced and talked with each other, holding each others hands like lovers separated but now reunited.

    Mina's acting was beautiful and it made you feel so close to the story. It made you forget that there was wire holding her up and she made you feel like she really could fly.

    Venus asked Feselion what wish would he wish for if he ever saw the shooting stars that were to appear that night, he replied "I wish that your wish would come true. What ever you would like." Venus told him in return "I would wish that I could go into your world so you wouldn't have to go to the trouble to come here. I could be with you always and I could soar through the air!"

    Mina spread her arms out to widen the effect. Her movement was most likely too much. Her wire was weak. It slowly loosened and dropped a bit. Mina looked behind herself to see the wire was untying itself. Her eyes widened. She gasped slightly. The wire began undoing itself fast. The boy playing Feselion had his eyes wide to and he started calling to the rope crew to let her down and something was wrong.

    Mina became panicked and tried to get the hook off her back holster and get free but it was untying even faster. Many of the audience members were gasping and oh-ing. Including Helena. Helena looked on curiously to her best friend, while holding up her dress' end to allow better access. Someone in the audience screamed "Someone help her!"

    Mina's line at that moment snapped. There was a scream as she feel to the stage. There was a thud and many people screamed. Helena couldn't see Mina as other people were blocking her view but she could tell what happened. The boy playing Feselion had his hand outstretched in an attempt to grab her before she feel but she was too far away.

    At the funeral, Everyone at the school was there. Her other friends, her family, the cast who had grown attached to her, and of course Helena. Everyone stood there listening to the priest. Her mother was hysterically crying into her husband's shoulder as her father leaked tears from his eyes.

    The story ends with Venus trying to jump off a rock in an attempt to jump to the negative world. She was hoping she could fly with Feselion forever. Feselion awaited nearby, ready to go after she did. Venus jumped high with her arms spread out. Her green dress trailed behind her as she began to fall from the rock. She screamed as she went down. She hit the ground and died instantly.

    In a way, Mina did become Venus. She became the flying human nova. She did soar through the air.

    And then came right back down.

    As everyone began leaving flowers at the coffin, Helena stepped up with a single lime green card and placed in on the coffin with a stone to hold it in place.

    It read: "I really enjoyed the performance. It looked so real. You really are Venus."

    When Helena walked away, she couldn't contain the horrid, never ending laughter that bellowed from her stomach. She laughed so hard. And she couldn't stop.
