• As he spoke those words I never thought I would ever hear spoken to me the world fell silent. The only things I could hear was my own stuttering and those three words echoing through my thoughts.

And again he repeated them, "I love you, I always have and I always will."

What is a person supposed to say in this kind of situation? I mean, really, how is even supposed to speak at all in this situation? 'Cause I know I can't find any words for this.

    Again he spoke, "Something wrong?"

All I could manage was to put my head down so he couldn't see my face, and to mumble, "No, nothing wrong..."

He walked over toward me and put his hand on my shoulder, "You sure you're okay?"

    "Y-yeah..."

"You're not acting like you are."

    "I'm fine really."

"Does the fact I told you I love you bother you?"

    "No." Such a lie.

"Well then this shouldn't bother you then," He said as his hand slid from my should to my hand and grasped it.

I quickly looked up at him in shock, "Wha- what are you doing?!"

All he did was laugh and smile.

Just then I realized how red my face probably was so I ducked my head down in hope that my hair would hide my face.

Using his free hand he tilted my head back up so we were making eye contact, and says "I love you, I want you to know that I really do love you and that I always will." He looked away towards the sky, still holding my hand and continued, "I mean, I don't know exactly how to explain it but I've just loved you for so long." He looked back at me, "Well I guess I can understand if you don't feel the same way, I'm sorry."

He let go of my hand and began to walk away.

"Please don't go..." I found myself saying quietly. How could he have not realized? I-I...

He stopped as if he had heard me, and I took a few steps until I was behind him, then without thinking I wrapping my arms around him, beginning to cry, "Please, don't leave me all alone. I'm afraid. Please don't leave."

He grabbed my hands that were around his waist and said, "Don't worry, I'll never leave you, I'll always be here for you. No matter what happens."
