• It was a dark night. I was calmly striding across the concrete sidewalk. I see you .
Alone, walking. I knew it had to be now. As my pace grew faster I could feel my
pulse over my entire body. Adrenaline pumping through my veins at a speed that
seemed faster than my own blood. My footsteps in sync with my heart beats, my
entire body seemed to be on fire.
With the rage building I wasn’t going to wait to satisfy this urge. I couldn’t live with myself if I turned down the chance I had, it might be too easy but I didn’t mind. As the distance between us closed my muscles tensed up. I quickly un-buckle my belt and smoothly take it out of the loops on the waist of my pants. I get about a foot away from you and loudly stomp. You turn just in time for me to see the expression of panic on your face. Your eyes screamed of terror. Those screams were music to my ears.
I take my belt with one end in each hand and quickly wrap it around your neck. I don’t want to strangle you. I was trying to restrain you. At that point I had your neck in my grasp. Holding you with one hand up against a close by fence. I threw a single punch to your temple. You were immediately knocked unconscious. “Oh s**t.” I said to myself. I had just realized what I had done. I had to hide this some how. I wasn’t looking into your eyes at all. I was looking into the eyes of someone I didn’t even know instead of the ones that filled me with hatred.
Panicking I picked up their ankles and dragged you about five feet. Realizing this would be too hard I wrapped my left arm around the top of her thighs and lifted you. Their torso hung over my shoulder. I really hope no one sees me. I see a park ahead and begin to pick up my pace. We reached the opening to the park and I see an opening into the deep forest. I began to sprint.
I ran down the dark separation amongst the trees. I ran until I was in complete darkness. The thought of me hurting the innocent was something I couldn’t live with, but I wasn’t about to take the blame for it either. I placed her body on the grassy, moist ground. I started my search quickly, she would wake up any moment .
I looked until I found a decent sized rock. The circumference was about the same as a small dish plate. I picked it up in both hands and dropped it on her face. I could hear the crunching of bone beneath hard mineral. It made me cringe. I heard her innocent screams. I picked up the rock and repeated the process a second time. The screaming worsened. Next thing I heard was whimpering.
    “what are you doing?”
I couldn’t believe it. After all this how could she still be speaking?
“You can’t destroy me. I’m not a human.”
I was completely flustered. I didn’t know what to say. I finally realized what to say after what seemed hours.
“If you aren’t human, what are you ?”
“I am a demon. Sent from the after world. I am here to show you the consequences of bad doing. You now know how it feels to kill the innocent. What it feels to take a life unnecessarily. Tell me , have you learned your lesson?”
    “Yes.”
All of a sudden there was a bright light. I had no idea what was going on. There was a loud noise. It sounded like an airplane was three feet away. It was so loud it sent me to my knees. There was a flash of red light, it lasted less than a second. I was once alone in the forest. Alone with my thoughts. I stood up threw and searched the ground. The blood, rock, and body were all gone. I glanced around. And realized, I had no idea where I was. Franticly searching for a way out of this labyrinth of trees, I thought I saw a light and bolted towards it. I was running for what seemed hours. Nothing. I was definetly lost now. I turned around and ran in the direction in which I came. My foot caught on something. A rock maybe, I wasn’t quite sure. I fell to the ground. This time, it was my own skull crunching this time. I moaned in pain. The dirt was damp in between my fingers. I put my hand to my head and felt my own warm runny blood in my hair. No doubt this was fates way of getting me back. I assessed the situation. I was in the middle of a forest with no way out, bleeding from the head. I was done. I lied there waiting for numb blackness. The pain in my head worsened then started to fade, so did the feeling in all of my limbs. Then, everything went black.
