Her eyes softened as she looked up at the cold eyes of the man. His dark green eyes glaring down at her. She knew well that she should be afraid, but no fear ran through her. She knew this man's heart well, better then anyone else before her. She could see clearly into his heart, into his soul. He wasn't evil, no, not at all. He was merely human, afraid of being hurt, and afraid of being weak.
"Its okay, you don't need to be alone anymore. I will not leave," she promised him, her voice soft like an angels.
She was as innocent as the purest being. Her heart lit his up in a way that he had never experianced. It was something he could not understand. Why didn't she fear him, hate him, dispise him? Why did she not try to kill him like all the other before her had? What made her different? Was she blind? His questions, no matter how many times he asked, always were left unanswered.
She smiled softly and rested her head upon his chest. He could not sense any fear in her. He saw no lies in her eyes. In this moment, he believed that she was his angel. He trusted her completely, though this was something he would never tell anyone. No one but him needed to know, not even her.
