It hast been only the seventy-fourth season and word has spread of my intentions. That which was before praise has turned to shame as I turn upon Mother. I detest weakness...These mere humans do not understand why I must do this, for they have not felt the pain I have. For then, would they understand.... Nearing the seventy-fifth month I was approached by two men...Gabriel and Michael as I was told. Unlike those before them, they had not intended violence against me, but against Thy Mother were their hatred..For they too suffered the Curse I had endured.
The night before our strike on Paradise..Our reasons for such acts were shared around a fire. Michael, spoke calmly and gently, though his tale had no such tone. His family was ordered to be murdered, along with himself. His wife and child were both slaughtered in front of him,he, however, had no such luxury. Just as the blade of one of the men came to srike upon him, it shattered...His bonds were loosened, and he was allowed vengeance upon the men. After they were handled, he attempted to take his own life, so that he may be with his family in the afterlife, but his skin would not penetrate, nor would his blood spill...It was then he knew he was cursed.
Gabriel had rage within him, and was far too upset to speak aloud what he had endured. As a mere gesture of comfort, I let him know that everything would be alright, that I would be there for him if things had gone wrong. For once, I had seen a smile. As the sun arose, each of use held a holy relic, raising it to the skies above. A few moments passed, and a shining stairway of light came down upon us. Each of us stepped forth, relics in hand. The stairway was vast, and took what felt like hours to finally climb. Upon reaching its end, were clouds of white, cotton-like material. Each step we took sunk our feet in its warmth. After a brief moment of travel we came across a gate. It appeared to span miles, made of glittering gold that shined enough to blind one's eyes.
At the center of this gate was a man draped in white, which seemed to blend with the clouds below us. His hair like sheep's wool.He seemed elderly and frail, hunching over as he read a large book. We stepped to him, insiting we be given entrance...He had not spoken a word. We asked him once more but yet no answer would escape the elderly man's lips. Gabriel became red with fury, and grabbed hold of the man, throttling him and demanding entrance. The elderly man's eyes opened wide, gleaming a golden yellow, his arms rising over Gabriel's now small figure.
He threw Gabriel to the ground, the once cotton-like ground turning to marble. He spoke, his, words ringing in our ears," If entrance is what thy seek, then entrance is what thy ist denied!." He halted for a moment and looked to me, pointing a long, knarled finger to me,"You...You hast been called upon by thy Mother." He frowned," If thy can not handle these pets, then thy shall burn." With that warning the golden gates opened, a chilling wind embracing against our skin. It shined such a mighty light, it was like that which I saw when I became cursed. Me, Michael, and Gabriel each stepped foward, knowing well our intentions... Upon entering what we thought was Paradise, we saw was truly a sight by which we had not prepared...
