• tab After all these months and four victims, Martin, a detective, finally had a clue of where he could be. The Vanishing killer. He entered the apartment along with a few police behind him.
tab They searched the whole flat but there was no sign of life; literally. Some dead dogs were on the floor and a rabbit that was being dissected was on the table.
tab "Damn," Martin cursed, "I thought we had him."
tab "I did, too," Officer Jones said.
tab "Alright, search the room," Martin told the officers.
tab "Do you think he knew we were coming?"
tab "Yeah, this was done a few minutes ago," Martin pointed to the dissected rabbit, "Probably ten."
tab "Hey, detective," an officer said, "come look at this."
tab Martin went into the room and saw that everyone was looking down at the air vent. He looked down at it too and saw it was open. He knelt down to look inside. The first thing he noticed was the smell; an atrocious smell similar to a dead body's. He saw the body of the missing Emily.
tab Martin got up. "s**t, now we got to tell the family."

tab Elizabeth looked out the window at Emily Steward's parents. She was going to have to deliver the news that their sixteen year-old daughter was dead. She headed to the waiting room and approached the ex-parents.
tab "Mister and Misses Steward," Elizabeth said.
tab "Where is my baby?" Mrs. Steward asked.
tab "Did you find her?" Mr. Steward asked.
tab "Yes, we did," Elizabeth said.
tab Mrs. Steward gave a sigh of relief. That completely broke Elizabeth's heart.
tab "Understand that we found her body inside her inside a vent with her face taken off," Elizabeth told her.
tab "What?" Mrs. Steward said while tears started swelling in her eyes. "NO!" she screamed. "Noo, why God? Why? My only child." She fell to the floor and Mr. Steward went down with her, holding her in his arms. "Why?," Mrs. Steward kept saying.
tab "Mrs. Steward," Elizabeth said, "I just want you know that I'm sorry for your loss."
tab "Shut up!" Mrs. Steward yelled, "She doesn't need your sorrow. You could've done more to catch that b*****d."
