• What should one do, when finally given room to think. When we live our lives at such a pace that thought is a rare commodity at worst, and something that people have to work on like a skill at best. So what should we do, given the chance to just think. Think of those times you spent on the beach in the summer. Think of the girl back home who you always wanted to tell, but just couldn't, now all grown up with a husband. What life could you have lead with her at your side? How about your friends, who you were inseparable from? How long has it been since you have seen them? The days of wild abandon have long since been over, fondly remembered, but gone nonetheless.

Now you toil away at your job, or try to get through school. Sure, you've met new people, some who are quickly becoming the kinds of people you can trust, but, what about the ones from before. What are these memories good for? Maybe now you'll finally tell that girl, instead of letting her slip away like all the others. Maybe you'll go to the beach, and just enjoy the sun, instead of trying to beat the ocean. Maybe those friends will be as inseparable as the last, and may last even longer.
