• I didn't stop running until I reached home. I locked the door behind me and ran up to my room, sliding down into a sitting position with my back against the door. He was gone, and probably never coming back. I lost track of time sitting there crying, not knowing how long I sat there till I calmed down some. I looked towards my full length mirror and got up to stand in front of it, my eyes were red from crying, but I didn't pay a whole lot of attention as I stared at the glass. I wasn't really looking at my reflection, but rather trying to look back on the chain of events leading up to what happened. A lot of times it seemed like he wanted to tell me something but changed his mind and didn't.

The next day I went and made pancakes for breakfast. It was quiet without my dad around, normally I couldn't hear my utensils clinking against my plate 'cause we were talking and laughing. I did the dishes after I was done and had a thought. There were rumors going around about a high-tech basement under the Old Mansion, though no one had ever been in it. Guess I get to be the first. I went up to my room and brushed my hair then braided it for my venture. I pulled my fingerless gloves on as I walked to the mansion.

"What'cha doin' Aqua?" a boy named Zypher asked, apparently following me

    "goin' to the mansion."

"that place is haunted, you know that?"

"is that a fact or another rumor?" he was silent. I stopped in front of the gate of the mansion. "Well? You goin' in?"

"I plan to." I looked at the padlock on it

    "how? Its locked."

"can you say something thats not obvious, or is that all you can say?" again silence. I heard something and looked over 'oh.... No' I bolted back the way I came. I knew a Dusk when I glimpsed one. "What is it?"

"none of your business." I panted after stopping back in town. I started home, having to turn towards Zypher "would you not stalk me?"

"alright." I started again. After getting home I wandered into my dads little used study. I pulled out a book and started looking through it. Page after page of keyblades with my dads scribbly handwriting under each, telling the name of it. I was about the only other person that could read his handwriting, other then him of course. At the end of the book, which I never thought it to be one that would update itself, was one that I'd never seen before. A diamond shaped shaft with sort of a bubble near the hand guard, flame teeth, crescent shaped hand guard and a shadow shaped keychain. The coloration was mostly black with the teeth being red as well as a stripe of red opposite the teeth, slate hand guard and purple and black keychain. But there was no notation under it.

I'd been raised on stories of Sora, the keyblade wielder and his friends, but now, what if they were just a story? I set the book on the desk and headed up to my room. I stood there and realized just how differently I'd been raised, so if I want to believe that there is a chosen keyblade wielder, then dammit I will! So, what if that keyblade was mine? I looked around my room 'where might I find a keyblade?' I know that the Kingdom Key chose Sora, but hey, I'm different. Something told me to check my closet, but I looked under my bed first. Nothing other then my box of pictures, I got up and went to check my closet. There it was, in the corner in the far left, glowing slightly.

I reached for it and it leaned towards my hand 'Chaos...' I brought it out and looked at it in the light. Now I could get into the mansion and figure out if any of the rumors are true, though it should wait till tomorrow, I'm a little too impatient. Back at the mansion I pointed my keyblade at the padlock and watched as a light blue light shot out from the tip and unlocked it, I smirked and went in.

After wandering around for a bit I found a way downstairs, high-tech, just like the rumors. Computer, metal walls and wires "this place is digital." I said lowly. Was that what dad always changed his mind about telling me? Or was there something else as well?

    Someone Elses POV-
"Shes quick." I said, watching her on the security camera screens as she went about figuring everything out. I don't know how they got it set up but they did and we were now watching her progress now. "Well it must have something to do with how she was raised." I looked at __________

"what makes you say that?" he looked at me

"I said must, _____, never said it was." I shrugged and looked at the screen. I had things that I needed to get done, but I wanted to watch her get closer to the truth. The slate haired male standing with me had a point, he never did say it was "I gotta go."

"get started on those missions." I cringed a little as I started to walk away at the mention of the missions I still hadn't done.
