• My name is Kami Kulia: Age 11 Occupation: middle school student. I guess I'll tell you a little about myself...I have shoulder length brown hair, one older sister(Ayame age 16) and one younger sister (Hana age 5). Yes weird age splits I know, our parents dont even understand it. I'm not very girly even though my mom would love it. We live in a HUGE house, my dad is the owner of a company that makes medical supplies and my mom is a doctor. today is the day I start sixth grade grade.

    'Miss Kami it's time to go to school'. Goro, our butler, called. He knew I hated mornings. When I glanced at the clock I saw I only had 30 minutes to get to school. Luckally I only had a 10 minute walk to school. Goro started to chuckel as he saw me sprint toward the bathroom to get dressed.

    'Goro-san why didnt you wake me earlier?' I tried to yell as I was brushing my teeth. He had started to walk down the stairs as I hopped into the kitchen trying to put on my shoes in the meantime. as you can probabally tell I'm not a morning person, but lucky for me I have the abality to get ready really fast.

    'Kami eat something!' my mom yelled as I was about to head out. 'crud' I thought. I ran into the kitchen grabbed some melon bread and my bento box she had packed for my lunch. I kissed my mom,dad,and Hana on the cheek before heading out with my older sister to school.

    She had caught up with her friends who were walking ahead a few feet from me.
    'Ka-chan!'. I looked behind me to see my best friend in the world Naoki. I had been friends with him pratically sence I had been born. 'Oh no if your passing my house I know we're going to be late' I teased. Then the rain came. 'Haha looks like karma sucks dosent it? Maby you should start watching the weather in the morning.' he laughed as he pulled out his umbrella. Today is the day I forgot my umbrella.

    After we finally got to school I wasn't as drenched because Naoki was nice enough to let me share an umbrella with him. School is good. Boring but good. I am at the top of my class. Long day of learning so I won't bore you with the details. I will mention,though,that my rival Mamia is in my class. We have hated each other forever. But no matter, I don't let it bug me.

    I had returned home with my sister and our father had called us both into his office. It wasn't like him to be home in the middle of the day. 'Please come and sit,' he told us. There was tention in the air like he had to tell us something.And he did. 'Ayame, you have been dissappointing me the last few months,' 'This isn't going to be pretty' I thought. Ayame had been letting her grades slip towards the end of the last school year, she is going out with someone who our parents didnt approve of, and had even gotten drunk one night.

    'I have decided until you change your ways Kami is the one who will be gaining the company in the future.' he stated. I could tell from here that Ayame would not like me. She had drempt of having the company forever,it was her dream. She had no idea that loosing it was an option,and neither did I. Our father was always the type of person who would think far ahead to the future. after a long loud fight with my father Ayame had given up and we left his office.

    After doing so as I was about to head to my room Ayame pulled me into hers with her hand covering my mouth. She then smacked me in the face.
    I let out a small scream of pain and she told me to shut up. For my safety I did.Then she decided to throw me to the ground and kick me in the stomach. 'Your going to pay for taking away my future. I hate you!!!' I heard her scream inbetween kicks and my crying. When she stopped she left me to cry leaving me with only the words 'If you tell anyone I'll kill you.' And I beleved her.
