- The front hall of the dorm smelled like boiled cabbage. I hate cabbage and the taste of the rest of the docor was just as dull. Wide, over used couches smelled in the corner, their color bleached by the sun that shone through the broken front window. Probley from a baseball, I had thought. The side tables were rickety and overloaded with outdated magazines. I sat on my giant leather suitcase next to the wide stair case that lead to the faceless students rooms. My mom had left a while ago. "Now remember," she had said, "no fighting biting, tickling or giggling." It was a rythme she had made up for me when i was little. It meant; be nice but dont flirt. "right right. i got it, mom." She held my head and stared at my nose, that was the one part of my face, she had said, that looked exactly like my fathers. She giggled to herself, kissed my forehead and let me go. Tim handed me the last payment and documents needed for me to live in the dorm. She turned and left, heels clicking on the black wood floor.

Okay, first of all: best first sentence ever. biggrin
However, your grammar and spelling could use a little working on. You could just have someone look at your writing after you do it, or use spellcheck on Word. biggrin - Report As Spam
