• Folian: So your name is Alex correct?
A young man with brown hair and sky blue eyes looks up with a confused expression on his face.
    Alex: Yes sir.
Folian: It says that you ran track, took judo, and journalism in highschool?
Alex unfolds his hands and sits on the edge of the seat.
Alex: Yes sir. Can I ask you something?
Folian: Sure, as long as it is not why I want to hire a new handyman and what happened to the last one.
Alex ponders over his question and waves it away from his mind.
Folian: Okay you look like the correct man for the job. Your hired!
Alex: So what do I do? When do I start? And what's my pay?
Folian in his white lab coat shifts through the clutter office desk and pulls out a rolled up piece of paper. He also walks over to the shelf and pulls out a miniature book and hands it to Alex.
Folian: This is your list of things to do in the mansion if you need help consult that book.
Alex gets up and straightens out his over coat. He steadily moves to the door.
Folian: Oh, and Alex don't forget the gear for your work in the closet to your right!
Alex: Okay... Hey the book has no words!
Folian: It soon will... Now hurry down the hall and pick up the gear. You start tonight!
Alex runs down the hall finding the door Folian mentioned. He opens the door and finds that the gear is a bit off.
Alex: We have a flashlight, sword, pepper spray, container, smoke bomb, a pouch, a contraption, pencil, and some flash paper? Why would I need a smoke bomb?
Alex locates a backpack in the back corner and loads the items.
Alex: Look, here is a pocket for my book!
Alex shifts it into place and looks at his list.
Alex: Okay first on the list... Find the parallel room. Door #119? What is a parallel room any way and how can I find it?
The book in his bag falls out and shakes.
    Alex: What?
The book grows eight legs and an eye on the cover.
    Alex: What are you?
The book opens and writes in itself with mysterious ink. Alex grabs the book from where it stands and starts to read.
Alex: Chapter one the Folian home. Your guide to the home is a Bookider. A mystical being resembling a book and the cross between a spider. It was invented by Dr. Folian in the early 1930s and was used to guide people through his home and explain other creatures and rooms Folian has made. This creature has a sence of humor and never runs out of ink because of its venom. WARNING! Do not eat this book!
The book shakes again flipping to another page about 119 pages forward.
Alex: The parallel room. Door #119. This room invented by Dr. Folian himself is the connection between universes. Sometimes Dr.Folian will send letters to his other selves trough this room. Do not switch through the world cuasing another you to come out the way you came in! This room is only for research!
An arrow points out the door and down the hallway to a door on the top floor. Alex darts out of the room and finds himself in a large room with many doors from ceiling to floor.
Alex: I think I found the door.
Alex climbs the steps leading to the door labled 119 and turns the door to find him looking at himself holding a letter stamped with an F.
    Alex: Who are you?
ALEX: I am you from another universe. You need to give this to Dr. Folian.
He hands Alex the letter. Alex folds it over to see no unordinary details about it.
    ALEX: Now go!
Alex: But I have more questions to ask!
ALEX slams the door cuasing Alex to fall to down the stairs onto his rear end.
Alex (still confused) bolts to Dr. Folians office. He finds only a note on the desk.
    Dear Alex,
I must inform you of the few incedents of tonights progress. One keep up the work, and two you must stay alive! I left the cages open to thirteen monsters by accident and I need you to round them up. They are the most dangerous creatures known to man so be warned! I first want you to do the chores I gave you. By now you should have only two left. I sincerely regret my absence and I wish I could help.

    Sincerely Dr Folian.

    And this is my situation...
    To be continued...
