• I was walking, humming the same tune I did before I got my wings. They flexed inside my shirt. "Stop it!" I thought, " I know you want to fly but we can't right now." I heard something. I stiffened. I looked around. "Jake!" I called out. No answer. He must be pullin a prank on me. "Alright I give!" I put my hands up. Suddenly someone tackled me. It wasn't Jake but it was a girl. She looked about 16. She held a small piece of lightning to my neck. "Stay still! I don't want to kill you.",she said. I looked at her she was wearing a white jacket, black an white scarf, jeans, and converse. She had short black hair with bangs covering her left eye. I listened iI heard Jake in the distance. Great! She pulled out a senbon but it looked funny. It had a black tip on one end. She held it toward my arm. "Why are you here?"
    "I'm lookin for someone." I said with a grin. She didn't like that.
    "Who?!?"
    "Ask nicely!" whee
    "Okay. Who... NOW!" scream
    She pricked my arm with the side that wasn't black. A bead of blood started to form.
    "My innocent! God..."
    She looked at me curiosly. "Why do you even want one?"
    "It's something my dad wanted me to do before he returned to... well you know." I pointed up.
    "Your dad's an angel too huh?"
    "Yeah. Wait why am I even telling you this crap?!"
    She grinned she held up the senbon both sides had my blood on it. "I didn't want you to notice."

    Just then my eyes started to blur all I could see was the green of the trees. I tryed focusing. I saw her wings unfurl. "Y-yourr a half blood toooo?"Everything went black.

    I woke up with my hand tied behind me to a tree. My eyes were still a little jacked up.
    "Mornin there druggie."She said.
    "W-why?"
    "Precautions I have to make."
    "What?"
    " I know you work for them." She said with a saddened face,"You were lying."
    "No I wasn't!" My words stopped slurring.
    "So tell me who are you then. I'm Nikki. My dad was a full blood angel my mom was a half blood. What about you?", said my attacker.
    "I'm Gabe. My dad... is a full blood. My mom is a mortal." I could hardly think.
    "How did you get your wings? I got mine because I help my brother out from under our car after a big wreck. I don't remember what happened to him..." She looked sad again. cry
    " I found a little girl in the woods. She was lost and being followed by a bear. She managed to climb up a tree and pass out before nearly getting mauled. I got her down and brought her back."
    She poked me with another senbon. Crap.
    She looked at me. "This is pure adrenilin. It'll help you get out of here. Now spread your wings. Only bad part is that is can make you crazy so think before you act."
    I looked into her eyes" Come with me." heart Wtf! Why did I just say that! I thought up a silent prayer. "God, this better have a friggin reason!" I thought.
