• Long ago in the countryside there lived a man and a woman. They had a little son named Edmund. He seemed like just your average little boy, but he had a secret. If he whispered someone or something's name in his hands, they would die that night. He only practiced his power on bugs and animals. One day, he had a fight with his mum. She angered him so much he wished her dead. That morning the husband woke up next to the body of his dead wife. This drove him to the brink of insanity. When he found out his son's powers, he went into the field and grabbed some of the barbed wire fence, not caring if his hands bled. Then he went inside the and wrapped the barbed wire around Edmund's head to forever silence him. It turned out, this didn't stop Edmund from already wishing his dad dead hours before. Edmund escaped his home, hoping to be never seen again.

A few years later, a couple in the city found a twelve-year-old boy on the streets. He suffered from extreme abuse, they noticed, as his mouth was covered with barbed wire. The couple was too poor to raise him or even give him medical attention, so they dropped him off at the local orphanage. The other orphans were scared of the boy, not only from the wire covered mouth but also the look in his eyes. The look of intense insanity.

He stayed at the orphanage for a few months until one day some of the barbed wire fell off, uncovering his mouth. Even with his face extremely disfigured, Edmund was still able to speak and told the kids exactly why he had the barbed wire mouth. They were terrified, and this upset Edmund. He was afraid they would tell the owner of the orphanage, so each night he killed the children who heard his story one by one. When they were all dead, his insanity overcame him and he whispered his own name in his hands. Then he climbed into bed, laughed quietly to himself, and shut his eyes.

Edmund was found dead the next morning. The owner of the orphanage planned a burial, only to have his body missing from the morgue. No one knows where it went, or whether or not Edmund is in fact alive and well. One thing's for certain, remember this tale well. You'll never know if you run into the boy with the boy with the barbed wire mouth.....
