• I had not seen the car coming, it hit me head on. My bike flew out under me as time began to slow. Tramp was flying out of my backpack and I hit the windshield. "Ooooohhhh." I groaned. "At least you'll have a reason to be late." Tramp said sliding next to me. I just stared at him getting number by the second. I looked at my shirt, and moaned when I saw blood seeping through. "Oh my gosh, are you alright?!" asked a middle aged women. I shook my head and took in a deep breath. "Hold on I'll get help." someone guy said that was walking by. I passed out. Next thing I knew I had woken up in the hospital. "Wake up sleepy head." A voice came soothing the pain that ran through my body. "Mhzjghe?" I attempted to say a response. A kiss landed on my forehead and my vision cleared up. "Katrina?" I asked. "Nope." came the reply and I recegnized the unfemidness of the voice. I looked over,"Nick, how you doing?" "Good, but I need to talk to you about my girlfriend." He replied suddenly serious. Nick was a short kid with black hair and brown eyes and a somewhat squeaky voice. He used to be a mutual friend, until he joined the football team. "Alright, but don't expect a kiss back." I replied trying to lighten the mood. Well it just ticked him off. "Look." He said getting in my face. He grabbed me by the hospital gown,"You touch my girlfriend again and your mine." Once again the smell of smoke. Football players too? That was never good. He left slamming the door behind him. "Well that was fun." I said with a smile on my face. I was released later that day with bandages across my chest. I walked to a nearby pond and knew exactly what I was looking for. "We the animals take control." I said and out came running Tramp. "Passwords are fun!" Tramp exclaimed jumping on my shoulder. "I agree, but we have work ahead of us." I said skipping a stone across the lake, rippling the lake and beautiful orange sunset.
