• It is a breezy, cool night in September. You are walking along the coast of a beach. You had been on an airplane what seemed like years ago, but in truth, you had crash only two days ago. There are no others left; they all died on impact. You check everywhere to see- you were sure you were alone ... You can taste the ocean's spray, hear the waves crash, smell the salt in the sea... While walking along the beach, you feel the cool, crisp breeze whistle past your ears- beckoning you towards the forest. You oblidge.
While walking into the forest, your senses seem to peak, as if never before had you sensed. You see the smallest of insects crawling among the tree limbs. The birds sing in a harmonious melody, that of a rehearsed choir. You can smell the moist jungle air. It's late at night but the forest itself seems to give off a bright glow. You feel... alive .
You continue walking slowly through the dense forest- you are in such a trance from the beauty of it all that you don't even feel your feet. You hear a faint sound. You stop walking. The melody of the birds ceases. The faint sound of distant running water creeps around the edge of your tranquil state of mind and calls you forward...
Briskly, you walk towards the loudening sound of the water. You slowly start to go from walking to sprinting towards the noise. The visions of trees and surrounding life flashes on either side of you, but you keep running increasingly faster. Finally, you fall forward into an open space in the forest. You look up...
There before you was a waterfall. None before it have ever existed. There had never been a waterfall as worthy of king before as this one. The full moon's light was shining brightly on the pool of calm water below the gentle falls. The water was still except for the very intersecting point at which the waterfall broke the water's surface. Walking forward, you notice that you could see stones of all colors, shapes, and sizes beneath the surface. Bending down, you run your fingers slowly throught the water- facinated. As you do so, you notice the ripples seem to shine silver. The moonlight twinkling off of the glassy surface, you pull your hand out...slowly... You stand back up. Facing you was a man.
This man was beautiful. There was no other way to describe him. A few yards behind him stood a woman. The man had dirty blonde hair the stopped short of his eyes. His eyes... only the most crystalline form of a brilliant blue. He was tall and rather muscular. A white cloak draped across his body, he began to smile. It wasn't a sinister smile... no. It was welcoming. He said nothing. He beckoned the woman forward.
The woman, too, was more beautiful than anything you had ever seen. She walked fluidly and gracefully towards you, her waist-long blonde hair whipping around her with the breeze. As she came closer, you realized she had deep, green eyes that concealed the emotion behind the complex woman. Her white cloak wrapped around her, she smiling without revealing her teeth. She had a few freckles, but no other marks lie upon her pale, smooth face.
You stand, in awe, and marvel at the two humans who would were beyond any true human beauty. You notice a faint glow about them, thinking it was the light of the moon, you ignore it.
Without speaking, they simultaneously stretch their hands outwards towards you. You put your hands in theirs and follow them breathlessly into a light space between the trees, where it seems to be giving off a strong, angellic glow. You walk hand-in-hand with these cloaked, angellic figures into the light and never again return to the gimmering waterfall...
