• That night past slowly, after the meeting. My eyes gazed heavily out into the chilled starlit night. The wind blew into my room through the window and tickled my face as I slowly rose sitting up in the bed. The elven sheets fell to my waist as i leaned on my left arm watching the constellations above the skies of Rivendale. I knew i should have been fast asleep like most of the town except for the night watch yet I could not sleep. I Felt My mind being weighed down heavily by the thoughts of what lie before me. How important was this task and How big was my part to play? These thoughts weighed heavily on my mind, I began to wonder what would happen to middle earth if we failed and If the enemy won would we--

"Fae?" My mind tore from its thoughts as I looked to the door Seeing Aragorn"Its late you know.." He spoke as he walked to my side sitting on the edge of the bed.

"I could not sleep." I spoke softly, truthfully, I couldn't lie to Aragorn. For he read me as well as Arwen did.

"Your mind is heavy with the thoughts of what lie ahead of you." He spoke softly moving my hair out of my face, It always irritated him, but it always irritated me when he tried to move it.

"Yes..." i breathed through the chilled air, "I know i can do this but no one seems to have faith in me.."

"Then Arwen and I are no one, And what of Elrond?Has he not had faith in you?"He joked. "My dear Fae,"He spoke once more this time a Seriousness in his voice "You must keep your head high, though this seems like a difficult task I know you can do this. Prove the others wrong and Know that I will always be there to protect you if the need Arises."

I smiled softly, "I Know."I breathed "Your always there.I honestly cannot get rid of you!"I joked happily as he ruffled my hair

"I know."He smiled kissing my forehead finally,"Go to sleep now, your body aches with exhaustion and you need your strength for the journey ahead" I laid back my body finally giving up on me. Aragorn simply chuckled as he tucked me in before walking out letting me to sleep.

My eyes closed as my mind welcomed the darkness my heart and breathing calmed as I fell into a peaceful sleep.
