• On Saturday morning I wake up to my cell phone ringing. “Hello...Oh hey Briana, what’s up?”
“What’s up?! I saw you grinding it up with David. What were you thinking? Do you have any idea how much trouble your in with Sophia?”
“Good morning to you too. Who cares what that slut thinks?”
“Who cares?! I do. They could take away my boyfriend…Hello?”
“I heard you but anyway I’m going back to sleep. Goodbye.” I hang up the phone then I see I have one new message. I look to see who it’s from.

Hi it’s David. I had a great time last night. I want to see you again. Can we meet?

Hi, it’s me (Anna)! I also had a great time. I guess I can hang out for a little while. Can you meet me at the boardwalk for lunch at 12:30?

    XOXO Anna

    Sure I’ll c you there.

Wow I can’t believe what is happening. In the next hour I take a shower, get dressed and even have time to get a quick snack. I am wearing my favorite black and white splatter shirt and jean capris from I.N.C. with my new black Coach boots. My hair is totally frizzing because of the humidity so I decide to put it in a bun.
I meet David at the boardwalk and we decide to go to the café called A Walk on the Beach. It is a small place but many people went there because of the great curly fries. This is my first time here.
“So I had a great time last night,” David says.
“So did I. You know, for someone who doesn’t know how to dance you were doing pretty good on the dance floor,” I say and we both laugh. The food comes and we are eating and talking and laughing. When we finish we split the check and leave.
“Well. What now? It’s 2:30 now. What do you want to do?” David asks.
“Want to walk on the boardwalk?” I suggest.
    “Sure”
We walk on the boardwalk for an hour and a half. When we both finally admit that our feet hurt, we decide to part ways.
    “I had a great time,” I say.
    “Me too,” David says.
“Well I guess I’ll see you on Monday. Bye.” All I want to do was kiss him, but I don’t have enough courage.
We both turn and start walking away, when David says, “Anna wait.”
When I turn around and say, “What?” he immediately kisses me. I feel like I am floating on a cloud, and nothing can bring me down.
