• Annabeth awoken from bed. Like usual, she smelled the scent of strawberries in the strawberry fields, she heard the sound of swords clashing. She knew, for 5 years in this camp, that she's a half-blood, half god, half human, children of the god/goddess. She LITERALLY grew up in Camp Half-Blood, a haven for children like her. She still remembered when she was 7, she ran away from home, because her father and her step-mother, accused her of causing mythological monsters to appear in the house, and so, Annabeth left, away from her step-mother, her children, and her father.
She never saw her mother, but she now knew that her mother is the Greek goddess of wisdom and architecture, Athena. She now understood that half-bloods cause monsters to appear because they have a scent of a god/goddess, which could not be sensed by regular mortals, but the monsters could. She quickly got out of bed and got dressed for breakfast. During breakfast, she's sitting in her table, Athena Cabin's table, talking with her friends who's mother is Athena too. Every table belongs to a cabin, and every cabin is dedicated and represented to one of the 12 major Greek god/goddess, and everyone in camp must follow the rules that whatever cabin they belong to, they have to sit their cabin's table. The campers' cabin is arranged in the godly parent they belong to. For example, if you're a child of Hermes, the messenger and thief god, then you belong in the Hermes Cabin. Some campers are undetermined, so they're put into the Hermes Cabin, making the cabin REALLY crowded.
That morning, as usual, she went sword practicing with the other campers. The satyrs, which is a mythological creature that is half human and half goat, are playing with the wood nymphs. Some other campers went canoeing in the lake. Some went to practice archery. Some went on climbing a mini- volcano mountains, avoiding obstacles such as falling lava, metamorphic falling rocks, etc. The Hephaestus Cabin campers went into their secret forges to build weapons, shields, and other useful equipment. Just after Annabeth finished sword-practicing, she saw Grover Underwood the satyr holding a dark black- haired boy, unconscious currently.
Chiron the Centaur, half human and half horse, the camp activity director, also Annabeth's favorite teacher, ordered her to the infirmary to help the new camper, the dark black-haired boy recover. When Annabeth arrived at the infirmary, Grover was glad she came to help. She got quite irritated whenever she's around Grover. Grover told her that the new camper, the dark black-haired boy's name is Percy Jackson, and he's also the children of one of the Big Three of the gods(Zeus, Poseidon, Hades). After 3 days, she came back to check on Percy's recovery. Percy is still unconscious. Grover told her more about Percy, that he killed a Minotaur, a bull-human, right outside of the camp gate, but then her mother is currently crushed by the monster. Annabeth decided she will find out how good Percy is at fighting during Capture the Flag this night, to see how good Percy is with a sword.
A few minutes later, Percy awoke from his three-day slumber. Annabeth gave Percy a cup made of gold with nectar and ambrosia, a type of godly food to speed up Percy's recovery. If a regular mortal drank that, they would have literally burned up, but as for a demi-god, no, but drinking too much of it will also cause a burn-up. Percy asked what it is, and Annabeth told him what it is. Percy said that it tastes really good. Annabeth suddenly caught Percy's sea-green eyes, so bright, it hurts just to stare at him in the eye too much. Annabeth warned Percy not to drink too much of it, or he will burn up.
