- Sophie glance at the piece of paper she’d left in the crater, then walked off into the sunset. There was a great flash of silver, and she was gone. From behind a tree in the great forest, two shadows appeared, one of the past, one of the future. They slowly combined into one as the shadow stepped forwards and into the sunlight. The sun shone on the figure, bringing the colours from it into life. It was a woman. She walked up to the crater and looked at the piece of paper, then slowly picked it up. She unfolded the faded parchment, looked at her writing, then smiled and faded. And as she faded, the paper slipped from her fingers, falling away. The woman became a shadow, forced to walk on the earth forever. And even now, she walks it still.
