• Momo woke up to an ocean of sunlight in her room, another bright spring day. As she threw the covers off her tiny body, she remembered what today was April 27, 2009. Momo despised this day, more then school all she had to do was stay inside. Not hard for her she had everything she needed in her room food, water, light, entertainment, and a bathroom. Momo put her feet on the white carpet which felt like fresh silk, she stood up and stretched her tightly knotted muscles. The walk to her bathroom was short, and when she stepped on the cold tile of the bathroom floor a shiver exploded through her body. As she walked past the mirror she took a quick glance at herself, her pale sea blue eyes had a sad hint in them, and her blonde hair seemed flatter today, her lightly tanned skin seemed an ice white. Momo shook off the way she looked and walked to turn on the shower. As she stripped her night gown off and stepped into the fire hot water, letting it seep into her body.
Momo quickly turned the water off, after a sharp cracking sound from above.
“What the hell is going on?” She mumbled to herself as she stepped into the cold winds of her personal bathroom. Momo wrapped herself in the cotton blue towel, as she walked into her room. She glanced around her room taking quick glances of her tinted purple walls, and princess bedroom furniture. With a laugh she whispered “My imagination is so wild.”
“Momo, come down for breakfast!” A voiced shouted from downstairs
“In a minute.” Momo responded. Opening a dresser she pulled out a black camisole and white skinny jeans.
“Why do I bother dressing nice if no one is going to see me?”
She pulled on the outfit then walked downstairs to the kitchen, her step-mother was in there cooking bacon.
“How many slices hun?” She asked in her country voice.
“Um, like 3.” Momo answered, grabbing a plate from the cabinet above the sink.
“Are you ready for school sweets?”
“I’m not going today, its April 27th.”
“That’s right, I’m sorry. I think you should at least try to go today. Maybe for the best?”
“It’ll be for the worst Angie. I’m telling you that much.” Momo said stuffing a piece of bacon into her mouth.
“How are my two favorite women today?” A husky voice said.
“I’m good, but talk to the child you call a daughter.” Angie said, without taking her eyes off the stove.
“Oh, so blame me for this? Gee thanks Angie.” Momo grunted
“Don’t be so hostile to each other. Come on it’s a nice day outside!” Momo’s dad said as he walked into the kitchen.
“Look don’t give me that tone young lady.” Angie glanced at Momo
“I’m sorry I didn’t mean to give you an attitude, but I stand my ground. I’m not going to school today!”
“Monica Grace Clint! You are not to talk to your mother like that.” Her father shouted he never called Momo by her full name unless he was extremely pissed off.

“Charlie Chuck Clint! I will not go to school today; I will be doing what I want to do today and not what you want me to. So leave me alone.” Momo screamed at her father, before she stormed out of the room.
“Monica we are not done yet! Monica get back here right now young lady!”
“You’re not the boss of me; you never had control of me. Only mom did and that woman isn’t my mom she will NEVER be my mom. Don’t try to get me to like her dad.” Momo shouted as she stormed up the stairs to her room.
Momo slammed her door and locked it when she got to her room, tears streamed down her face. “It’s not fair, it’s never fair.” She whined another crack filled the room.
“Who the hell is there?!” She yelled again, to no one. A faint glow came from her closet, she slowly walked toward her closet. Before she opened the door she slid into a pair of black flip flops, she hesitated before she grabbed the knob.
The door busted open and a bright light shined, she slowly shuffled her feet away from the light. ‘This has to be dangerous’ she thought as she took the last step away from the light, in a split second Momo was sucked into the light. Letting out a terrified scream as she started falling or flying, objects flew around her, Momo caught sight of stones and tress. ‘Weirdest dream I’ve ever had’ Momo thought again, looking down she saw something like earth. It got closer and closer as she was falling or flying, with a large pound she landed on the ground.
