On a long winding road stood a silent cloaked blonde man who was no older than 16 to 17. The sound of a carriage crept closer and soon two brilliant white horses, behind them trailed a coach, and on top it sat a rather plump man, a satchel was placed around his hip only preceded by his small lengthy sword, soon it would meet the blood of the damned. The man began again toward the small city. with only the thought of what lies ahead in his mind.it burnt with each step.
"If only I could have been chosen for something else," The rather young looking man muttered aloud. The city that lay before him was starting to light up, as the sun sang farewell to the soon to be doomed people.
He was now gaining upon the city wall, with little to no haste. His hands fiddled upon the hilt of his silver blade. It had been given to him by the Furor after he had been chosen. The Furor had told he had to be strong in the name of the forgotten one. He stopped close to the gate waiting for the four long arm men approached the young man. They wore thin chain mail under an iron crafted breast plate with the insignia of a bunch of Small Frogs in the middle of the air.
"Benjamin how are you today does the Madam call for you this bright and sunny day," said the guard he then straightened his helmet.
"Yes and I must be on my way so please move," the young man said as he motioned toward the closed stone gate. the guard laughed and went inside a small stone booth and raised a large purple flag.
The creaking of gars filled the air as the four men stood attention as the young man walked by one of the guards snickered "Way to go blondey." the young man walked by as he glanced at the impudent guard. The city flooded his senses with the sound of fun and the smells of baked bread and pie.
