I'm too young to act this old,
Too much pressure on such a childish soul.
High hopes and great admiration,
Too bad it looks like it's not mine for the taking.
Sick and sore, not sure I want to wake,
But it's not my choice, not mine to make.
Bend over backwards, fulfill my own goals,
Just like before, we'll watch as it falls.
I'm too young to act so damn old.

- Title: Too Young
- Artist: Schizophrenic Angel
- Description: Oh my god! He cursed in a poem! At least I did it in good taste. Seriously, you have to admit it makes the poem that much stronger >.o. ANYWAYS, this poem is about how we all act too old to really live our childhoods. I know I do it plenty, and in all honesty, it upsets me. Sometimes you just need to relax and be a kid again, because at one point or another, we are too young to act so old.

- Great message! It really touched me and reminded me I shouldn't be in such a hurry to get out of the house. I have one suggestion, maybe take the last line and put it in a paragraph on its own? Wonderful poem either way, I'm putting it in my favorites!
