I wach the clock
As it stares me down.
I scream and yell for it to please stop!
It doesn't listen
It doesn't even care.

I beg it to stop.
If only for a second
So i can have just one moment
to sit and not care.
If only for that second i won't have to worry
What life is like at its last breath.

But it doesn't listen
It doesnt not even care.
