• In the daylight of my evening,
The snow drifts across the field,
As I glance at the faces
Of the horrors that I wield.

While my body moves on it's own,
They scream in terror and plead with me.
Filled with blood, death, and more,
    the field becomes a sea.

I want to cry but it says to me,
It was for our own good,
    They rejected and abused us,
    It's time they understood.

    Understand what? I scream back.
I turn to the girl next to me.
    She did nothing to me,
She doesn't belong in this sea.

    Sword glinting in the sun,
    I tore across the sea.
    This blade shattered my shields,
For I was not meant to kill.

    I knife covered in rust
Left a wound never to heal
    Although staying by me side,
My life is no longer real.

    Finally, I stop,
    Standing in another sea
    Of death, blood, and love,
This is where I take my leave.

Within me is the Sword of Death,
Crimson tears mixing with those alike,
    I kneel and I smile,
As I lay in the Sea of Life.
