Together we were always happy. Every single piece I ever wrote was sappy.
You still smiled at every lengthy line. You felt enamored with every wordy design.
I always felt inferior in your eyes. With time everything about you I grew to despise.
But you kept coming to see my word. I always thought your reasoning was absurd.
You called it love in some form or another. Spouting nonsense that we only needed each other.
The moment of truth came and went. A tragic incident you tried to prevent.
You should have taken my word when I said it was too late. You should have understood there is no such thing as fate.
From the grave I'm staring at your face. Dead forever, never again to leave this place.
For the split second I had to decide, I chose a single step forward and into the knife.
I was never able to tell you this while we were alive... but I'll love you forever. You were my life.

- Title: Deceit
- Artist: Stargazer of Ali
- Description: There is no special meaning to this poem and it isn't particularly spectacular. I had no intentions upon first beginning this piece. I simply began to write and my fingers flowed. Whether or not people will like this or despise it... either way is fine. I'm happy that I was able to post this in the public eye. Thank you for reading.
