Everything is okay
I'm fine all alone
As long as you don't remind me
That I wasn't always standing on my own

And eventually these tears
Will be washed away by the rain
Because I don't need someone to hold me
So as to clear away the pain

The sun will always shine
The rain will always pour
And I'll always be standing here
Just as I was before

So even when I'm alone
I don't need to shed a tear
Because even though they're gone
There was a time that they were here

So I promise I'll be fine
I'll be content all on my own
Because loneliness only exists
When you have them but you're alone

So I won't be lonely
If I grow up to be all alone
Because if there is no one there to be gone
There is no one to leave me all on my own.
