• Since eyes can meet,
    Beneath the blue chlorine line,
    Laugh away darkness,
    Brighten skies with summer shine,

    Yet autumn days bring,
Rifts between you and between I,
    Hold the breath in and,
Silently wish that we could fly,

    But springtime arrives,
    Flowers bloom on their faces,
    Run backwards in time,
To see the sadness it replaces,

    Snowflakes fall around,
The dimming of the Christmas tree,
    Followed by the grayness,
And sights our eyes no longer see.
