• Love

    Love, feeble and precious
It is something that meets halfway
    Always a step behind,
    A pivot turned-
    Never a heart beat late
    And always there to sate.

    Love, strong and fragile,
Carries a great weight upon gently cradled
    Powerful yes—
    Always a test
    Glided on figurative glass wings,
Immobilized as arms when voices sing
    A name---
    Always meaning the same.

    Love, convoluted interpretation
People know not how to define it.
    They merely climb,
    Race against time
    Sometimes not knowing-
    Abbreviate it whimsically.
    Hurting-
    Confusing-
    Angering-
    An ageless accidental crime.

    Love, compassion between two
We know now this is for you
    Let me share my love
    A gift-
Neatly wrapped to express I care
To you I show how fair---
    Considered you are I stare----
Look deeply for a delicate connection more visible than air.
Only I can see this wonderful warmness
    Emitting powerful throbs,
    That invoke sobs
    Because Love is…

    Feeble.
    Precious.
    Strong.
    Fragile.
    Convoluted.
    Interpretation
    Compassion between two.

    From me to you.
    That is Love.
Meeting you halfway back to take hold of.
