My day to day life and anything I want to say.
Heart 001
The wind blows gently blows across the sandy shore as the sun slowly rises past the horizon. A young seventeen year old girl sits silently watching the sunrise. She has about mid-back length black-and-and red streaked hair, light pale cream-and-rose skin, and translucent yellow-hazel eyes. She is garbed in a long sleeved button down with the entire right sleeve missing, a black arm warmer in it’s place that goes form the wrist to about halfway past the elbow with a black ribbon interlaced on the side, a black loosely tied tie, a blue plaid miniskirt, jeans, and black high-tops. A few chains hang from her hip, several cuffs and bracelets on her left wrist, several rings on both hands, a few necklaces, three piercing on her right ear with a clamp while there are five piercing on her left ear. Her jeans are split at both knees, the lower parts attached to the upper by two denim straps on both sides of both knees.
It has been about three years since she awoke in this world on one of its many beaches. Across the water is another island, larger than the one she is on now. The main island with houses, schools, and markets about with several other smaller islands not too far from it. She sighs contently as her fingers fiddle with one of the necklaces around her neck. It holds an interesting little trinket as it’s locket she remembers getting from a girl named Keira. She soon begins to hum a light tune as she recollect on her “dream” as everyone tells her it is. She, however, denies the whole dream theory. She knows it is real. She can just tell it is. Just like the random visions and foresights she has, which she passes off as dreams to the others as hunches, instinct, or dreams. The “dream”, as they call it, is her memories as she believes. The voyages with Keira and her family, the sands of a distant desert land, the many worlds, the stars; she knows they are real.
[I just know it…someday…I’ll be able to prove it! One day…just wait Keira…I’ll find you….] She tightly holds the necklace in her grasp before she slowly stands and heads to her small boat that can hold about two people. She paddles down to the main island at a steady pace. After reaching the shore, she drags her boat on to shore and places it in a secret hiding spot she found in her first year in this world. From her hiding spot, she pulls out a school bag and heads towards her high school.
“Why good morning Terry, how are you today?” someone calls.
“Eh…?” Terry turns to see a kind elderly looking woman smiling like she does everyday. “Oh, good morning Mrs. Crawther, I’m fine thanks for asking, how about you?” The girl says, scratching the back of her head. “Sorry about not noticing you.”
“I’m good thank you. And no worries, you seemed to be thinking about something anyway. Are you heading for school?”
“Yeah…sadly….” She sighs, as the elder woman chuckles softly. “Well, see ya later Mrs. Crawther, have a great day and watch out for that ledge all right?” She waves and walks off.
“What…?! Terry!” The woman calls after her but stops seeing the younger girl can not hear her. “Who did she know I was going to walk near the shore today…?” She mumbles to herself in wonder.
Terry soon reaches the school and head straight to her class and sits silently in her seat in the back by the window. The students, about a year or so older than her, file into the room as the bell rings, taking their seats, followed by the teacher. He begins to teach his lessons as Terry’s mind slowly drifts off in to another place as she reminisces about her “dream”. She stares out the window, in a daze the whole time when she ducks her head dodging the flying eraser that hits the wall behind her.
“Eh…?!” She turns to see her huffing and puffing angry teacher.
“Terry, why are you not paying attention? Again…? He yells angrily.
“Uhh…sorry Mr. Thales…I was…well, I was just thinking really….”
“That is no excuse!” He says sternly! “That was the FIFTH item you dodged!”
Terry looks to the floor behind her to find the eraser, a pot, a shoe, a rock, and some other items.
[I’m getting pretty good at this….] She turns back to the teacher and smiles. “Not bad hunh…?” The class begins to snicker.
“WHAT…?” Instantly her smile flips as a brick flies at her.
“Yikes!” She dodges the projectile and it smashes into the wall. She turns to smirk victoriously at the teacher, but when she does, she practically stumbles back in shock. Instead of the simple thin teacher, she sees a humongous sumo wrestler. “Mr.…Thales…?” All the kids in class panic a bit as the sumo snarls menacingly.
“Fear the wrath of Humongadunga!!” He bellows loudly. From behind him appears Mr. Thales, a victorious smirk on his face.
“Ah Terry…, if only…if only; you were just like your younger sister!” He pulls on a golden rope that in turn opens a small set of blue curtains that reveals a small shrine of her little sister. An enlarged picture of her recent school photo hangs in the center of it all in an elegant gold frame, surrounded by her accomplishments, her name engraved into the frame.
Terry just looks at it, embarrassed for her teacher’s sake for even having the shrine.
“Well, I-.”
“You, Terry, are a lazy good for nothing with insane dreams that you alone believe are real!” The class begins to snicker at her, but she just ignores them like always. “You, also, oddly know when things are going to happen before hand…like the town fire that might have happened not too long ago.” The class begins to whisper things about her. Insults and rumors no less.
“Coincidence, I had a hunch something stupid would happen so I told them to watch out stalker….” The teacher gulps and points at Terry.
“Humongadunga, attack Terry!” Right then, just as the sumo is about to attack Terry, there’s a knock on the door and it slides open. At the door stands a sweet looking girl with shoulder length brown-red hair and ocean blue eyes dressed in a pink dress with three zippers and a black belt, a white tank top underneath, and pink sneakers.
“Uhh…Mr.Thales…I’m here to get Terry…my Mother told me to get her…am I interrupting something?” She asks hesitantly in confusion. The class just looks from the girl to Mr.Thales.
“Oh, no, of course no Ms. Kairi, you’re not interrupting at all! Terry, you are excused.” Terry quickly grabs her bag and leaves the room, walking down the halls silently with Kairi.
“So…why does she need me?”
“Oh…well, we have some important guests over.” She says giggling happily. Terry just smiles at her, relishing the smile. It has been a year since Kairi mysteriously returned but Terry was the only one to notice the absence. Everyone else acted as if they saw her just the day before. Another reason why Terry is ridiculed is because she told some her “theory” about Kairi, Sora, and Riku’s absence. Which, of course, were thought of as a random fictitious story that she conjured up out of no where, and ignored. Terry knew otherwise so she really did not care about the taunts made. She did not need the others approval of her “visions”.
“And why, may I ask, are you so happy about these guests, hmm?” She asks with a smile.
“Because; they’re very dear to us…!”
“Oh really….” She says, holding her hands behind her head. “I can’t wait to see them then, since I know you won’t tell me who said guests are….”
“They actually came last night, but you were out again…. Where do you go?”
“No where really…I just sail around…check out all the other islands….”
“Really…? Then why don’t you come back till after school? Sometimes you even go after school with out telling anyone!”
Terry just smiles a small mysterious smile that seems almost sad.
“Are you that concerned…?” She asks Kairi who abruptly stops at the question and turns to Terry.
“Duh, you’re my sister, of course I’m concerned! I care about you!” In that moment, Terry does not see Kairi standing there with a caring and worried expression. She sees Keira with her signature grin plastered on her face. She stare s in disbelief and blinks only to find Kairi standing there once again. She just smiles, softly chuckling to herself while shaking her head lightly.
“I just go excavating and going on historical/archeological expeditions….”
“You really like history don’t you?”
“It fascinates me….” is all she says and they continue to walk. Kairi falls back a bit, looking at terry with sad eyes. A pain of sadness fills her since she can not tell Terry everything. Unable to tell her sister that her “dream” is real and those other worlds do exist, after all the ridicule she endures for the past three years and still endures.
[I wish I could tell you…I really do…maybe they’ll let me!] An idea sparks in her mind and she smiles brightly, grabbing Terry’s hand while running ahead. “Hurry up Terry! They might leave!” She tugs on the older girl’s wrist lightly as she runs towards the house.
“Well they must be important for you to run like a maniac like that! You could’ve seriously gotten hurt if I hadn’t yanked you out of those bikers’ way!”
“How should have I known there was a bike-a-thon!”
“How about reading the big banners that have big bold letters on them…and people call me spacey….”
“Well sorry for trying to figure out a way to make you feel better!” Kairi snaps.
“Hunh…?”
“Uhh…never mind, lets just get inside, they’re waiting!” She says quickly and enters the house.
“You act as if its Sora and Riku, finally back from who know where!” She says in her usual carefree tone as she enters the home. She lightly kicks the door shut behind her and looks to see to sky blue eyes. “What the-!?”
