“This is as good as its going to get today….” She mumbles, tying her hair carelessly into a ponytail and heading out. She reaches the school on time and tunes out the squealing girls to the best of her ability while trying to stay awake through the boring lecture. [Last night was a killer…what I’d do for a potion right about now….] She thinks sourly as someone accidentally elbows her stomache in the halls. She winces in pain, but holds in the yelp. The students head to gym for P.E. and change in the respective locker rooms. Terry pulls an excuse, since she is on good terms with the gym teachers, and is able to sit out for the day. The day slowly continues and eventually the final bell rings and the students are let out.
“Freedom!” Sora yells in joy practically jumping out the window. The others laugh at the scene as Riku thwacks him on the head and he scowls rubbing the back of his head.
“Hey, have you guys seen Terry?” Kairi asks, reaching the group around Sora’s desk.
“She left a while ago, didn’t give much of a reason either.” A girl replies. “Just up and left in the middle of class.”
“Hmm…that’s strange…well kind of. She never leaves in the middle of something.” Kairi ponders aloud.
“I’m sure she’s fine, just a little soar form yesterday.” Sora grins. “I want to fight her next!”
“Like you would stand a chance….” Tidus mocks.
“Hey, at least I beat Riku once in my life!” They scowl and glare at one another.
“You two should chill no need to fight over nothing ya?” they grudgingly agree and the six head off.
Terry heads to the shore and casts off in her boat. She carelessly falls asleep while letting the craft drift off, following the waves.
“Ter’, Ter’, TERRY!!” An eleven year old girl sighs in frustration at the young six year old practicing continuously on her skills. The older girl combs her fingers through messy brown hair out of frustration as the sun makes her sun kissed copper-ish tan skin and brilliant green eye glow. Fed up, she snatches the practice weapon from the younger girl’s grasp. “Are ya even listenin’ to me?”
“I’m sorry Keira, I didn’t hear you….” The older girl rolls her eyes in reply.
“I kinda figur’d as much.” She scowls.” Kiddo, ya really got to take a step back and relax! Ya practin’ way to much for ya own good….”
“I’m sorry….”
“Stop apologizin’ so much too! Why are ya always apologizin’? Ya d’dn’t do anythin’!
“So-….” Keira sighs in exasperation.
“Ter’…ya got to relax and live life! Why can’t ya be like ‘em oth’r kids yer age??”
“Why can’t I be me…?” Keira is taken back by this question at first. “Can’t I just be me…or who I think is me? Sure I don’t remember much form before you found me…but still…why do I have to be like everyone else? Aren’t you the one that always says that I should be me? You’re confusing me…what do you want me to be?” She says in pure childish innocence. Keira stares at her, dumbfounded by what Terry just said and soon grins widely.
“If this is who ya think ya are…then I accept ya Ter’! Nev’r let anyon’ tell ya to change to who ya sho’ld be, not even me.’ She ruffles Terry’s hair a bit and hugs her tightly.

Terry wakes from her dream and stares aimlessly ahead.
“You were the only one to accept me….” She mutters to no one and notices that her ship has hit land. She drags the ship away from the waves and sits on the sandy shore, staring at the waves as they role in out. An empty feeling swells inside her as old memories resurface in her mind. Some happy, others funny, some sad, either way, they all are important to her. “I will find you Keira…even if it’s the last thing I do…I’m not losing you that easily….” She grips the sand tightly in her fist, determination to find away out of this world filling her.
The sun begins to set and Terry reluctantly sets off to the main island. She reaches her destination by dawn and sneaks into the house silently. As the others begin to wake, she falls asleep on the floor of her room carelessly. She spends the day sleeping while everyone else goes about their own business.
“Class, your attention please….” Mr. Thales speaks loudly above the noise, silencing the students. “I will be picking your partners for this class. You will be each others partner for the rest of the marking period for this class. “The class groans loudly in protest. “I know, I know, it’s all very sad but that is my final decision. Now on to the groups….” Some continue to grumble while others are actually pleased with their chosen partner. He reads off the list slowly and the girls sit on the edge of their seats, hoping to get the person they want. When Riku’s name and his partner’s name are mentioned, the girls groan in protest but know they can do nothing.
[Now this is awkward….] he thinks to himself as the class comes to a close. They day passes by quickly and terry does not wake till the next day.
[Now into the prison called school….] Terry trudges down the path to the school when she realizes the oh-so familiar sound of giggling and whispering. She casually looks around and spots several groups of fn-girls hidden. [Tryin’ to ambush him eh? Hmmm…to help or not to help, that is the question. Bah, why not, I’ll help him out!] She turns and sneaks into Riku’s backyard and climbs a tree close to his bedroom window. She tosses a few stones against the glass lightly and eventually gets his attention. He opens the window and stares at her with a confused yet surprised expression. She laughs at his reaction and his eye begins to twitch in annoyance.
“What do you want?”
“I’m here to bail ya’ out, ya’ in?” She grins
“Eh…?” She snickers at his confused expression. [What the hell is she going on about?]
“Your fan-girls are hiding on your path to school. They plan on ambushing ya’. Me being the nice person that I am, I came to help ya out. I can help you pass ‘em with ease.” She sticks out her hand. “Well…? Trust me; I won’t leave you to the rabid mob of fan-girls hotshot.” She smiles sincerely.
He looks between her and her outstretched hand for a bit, silently contemplating the situation.
[Should I…? Can I trust her? Why is she doing this anyway? It could be a trap for some stupid prank or something.] He hesitantly nods, shaking her hand. She grins and nods as well.
“Operation: Escape the fan-girls begins!”
