thanks for catchin that melissa, it doesn't make sense to say much best. im makin carina sound like a retard!!! and no, carina's not older than harrold. i had to think about that for a while and i may end up changing it around so carina wasn't there but they were both around like five years old when harrold was taken away. you'll learn later that carina's dad is in charge of a lot of things going on with the resistance groups so thats why carina was sent to get harrold. also since she was around the same age they thought she would be the best bet for getting harrold to leave. i tried to portray that in harrold's dreams but maybe it didn't work? harrold's 17 and carina's 16 now. OK! enuf of an intro lets get goin!!!

Harrold was in deep thought. This explained the weird dreams that he had been having. This explained that weird blue glow in the hospital. It also explained why Carina wanted to know all this stuff about him. He remembered Carina changing the subject when he had asked her where she lived before she came here. It explained a lot, yet Harrold still had a ton of questions.
“So…does that mean that I’m like…?”
“You’re not human Harrold. You have extremely strong powers that you haven’t discovered yet. Being in the mortal world this long and being raised by humans has greatly held back your power.”
Harrold was amazed. His whole life had just changed and Harrold wasn’t ready for it. He had no idea what was going to happen now that he knew he was some freaky evil prince and his real mother is an evil ruler of another world. He thought again about the dreams he had had.
“So it was your job to get me because you were the same age as me. You lured me out of the castle to play and led me right into the mortal world.”
“Yes, and then once we got there I erased all the memory you had of our world and me. How did you figure out that I led you out of the castle to play?” Carina asked.
Harrold was about to explain the dreams he had but Nicolas interrupted.
“Work on that later, now it’s time to figure out this letter. Let’s just read it through again. ‘I know you have something I want.’ Well that part is obvious.”
“What does she want?” Harrold asked.
“You.” Zack answered simply.
“Alright, ‘And in turn I have something you want.’ I don’t get that. What could she have?”
“Ok, our first question, what does she have? Go on with the letter, we’ll go over the questions after.” Valerie said.
“‘I’m feeling generous today—,”
Zack snorted at this.
“—so I will make you a deal. We can trade. Give me what I want, and I’ll give back what’s yours.’ So right there she’s saying that if we give up Harrold, she’ll give us whatever it is she has.”
“Don’t worry; we’re not going to give you up.” Carina put her hand on Harrold’s arm and smiled.
“‘If you are willing, come to the fountain on April 20th.’”
“The fountain she’s talking about is just a fountain right outside her castle.” Laura explained.
“Today’s the eighteenth so that only gives us the rest of today and tomorrow to figure this out.” Zack added.
“‘If you refuse, you’ll never see what is yours again. No funny business.’” Nicolas finished the letter.
“So the only thing we don’t understand is what Madrina has.” Valerie said as she sat back in her chair. Everyone was silent as they thought. Nobody seemed to know what it was that she had, if she even had something at all, or how she had gotten whatever it was.
It only took a couple of seconds until Carina and Harrold thought of the solution at the exact same time.
“How could we be so stupid?” Harrold asked shaking his head.
“I know, the answer is obvious!” Carina exclaimed.
“What? What’s the answer?” Nicolas asked, looking a bit alarmed at their sudden outburst.
“Derrick!”
ummmmmm yay!!! i was kinda suprised when u guys said it was a twist...i guess cuz i've known that was supposed to happen the whole time...it feels really weird that i know all this stuff and you guys dont its like i suspect evryone knows it. WEEEEEEEIRD!!!! weird like that ---> dramallama (im up to page 56 now!)
