As the two mighty monsters clashed, they cracked, shattered and sundered the ground. The danger of hitting the cages and crushing who were inside, grew larger and more likely as Kyobi threw, punched and kicked Hakusho all over the place, however Hakusho had some solid retaliations and knocked Kyobi into the walls and the ceiling on one occasion. A carpet of clouds approached the moon and eventually covered it completely. Kyobi slowly turned back to his normal form and fell to his knees, passing out. Hakusho stared at him then at the moon and laughed maniacally, the full moon was over for now. Breathing and panting he grabbed Kyobi by the neck and held him out of the hole in the wall above the boiling lava. Black Dragons could stand great heat up to several thousand celsius, but this lava was so hot it was close to a white color. "I'll see you in Hell Demon!" Hakusho yelled. Kyobi grabbed his arm, placed his feet on his chest and flipped around, sending Hakusho flying over the edge. "Noooo!!! I'll get you Kyobi!" Hakusho yelled as he fell downwards. Kyobi fell to the floor, dragging his beat up body towards the cages, with his last strength he summoned his katana and cut the locks. "Hannah...Mika...I'm sorry." he said as he summoned more strength to drag his body to the medicine cabinet which was thrashed but still intact. He grabbed some minor healing potion and gave it to Hannah. "Drink this...get Mika outta here, I can't carry her, but you can Hannah." Kyobi said shaking as his arm was almost broken. "Drink it, get her out of here. I'll stay here and finish what Mika had planned." Kyobi said. "But Kyobi, what about you? You gotta come with us!" Hannah said. "Me? The full moon is not over yet! I can't control myself Hannah. Get her out of here, run to the inn, and whatever you do, don't look back. Promise me Hannah, that you'll take her home safe." Kyobi said and grabbed Mika's bag of ninja weapons. "I have something to do first." He added.
Hannah got to the other side with Mika on her shoulder. She started running and looked back. Devastated over what she saw: The castle exploded in an apocalyptic blast that sent rocks and debris flying everywhere. Hannah barely managed to dodge a large rock. "Kyobi!!!" She yelled as she almost started running back, but stopped as she knew Mika was seriously wounded and could die if she went back. Hannah shed a tear and ran towards the inn a few miles away. Mika coughed up more blood, the situation was getting serious. "Please don't die on me Mika! Don't let Kyobi's sacrifice go in vain." Hannah said as she ran faster. Suddently, out from the ground emerged earth Demons, known for their huge strength and constant ambushes from the ground. They surrounded Hannah and the badly wounded Mika. "Well well well, what do we have here? I thought I only sensed one snack but this is terrific!" The head Demon said. The others cakled with it. "Get out of my way, I got a dying person here!" Hannah yelled. "I know, now stand still so we may kill you." The head Demon said and once again the other lesser Demons cackled with him. He lunged at her and held her by the throat, making her drop Mika, making it a bigger wound. "Hehehe, I'm gonna kill you now, and what are you going to do about it, little pathetic girl." The Demon said. "Grr! Let go of me." Hannah said. "Now, die!" The Demon yelled as he went in for the kill.
Hannah blocked it, ripped it's grip, leapt at the Demon and punched a bone shattering punch in it's face. Surely enough, the Demon fell on it's back after having flown a few feet. The Demons tried to swarm her but she let out a demoralizing scream and pounded most of them to bits, the rest backed off. "ANYBODY ELSE WANT SOME!?" She yelled. The head Demon rose back up and charged against her, also releasing a soul chilling scream, however, it had no effect on Hannah, who was enraged. She let the Demon hit her a few times, she got bruised and struck down. "Well!? You give up!?" the Demon yelled. Hannah got back up, wiped blood off her face and stared at the ground, then looked at the Demon with a piercing glare. "Come on." She said, just the tone was enough to scream out to the Demon to retreat or face agonizing defeat. "Hah! You got guts girl! Here I come!" The Demon said and sprinted towards Hannah, by the look in her eyes she seemed spaced out for some reason. As the Demon threw a barrage of hundreds of punches, she dodged them all, keeping her stone cold eye on the Demon. The Demon was becoming more frantic and smacked Hannah aside. "GHAA! STOP STARING AT ME!!!" The Demon yelled. She got back up and walked slowly towards the Demon. The Demon stepped back in pure fear. "I dare you to do that again...Come on. Do it, come get me, I'm here, DO IT NOW!!!" Hannah yelled. The Demon couldn't believe it but got up and ran towards her, throwing a punch which Hannah blocked. She then grabbed it's other hand, jumped and launched a volley of destructive kicks that broke the Demon's ribs. She then dropped, performed a side hold throw which slammed the Demon in the ground, she then sat on him and threw punch after punch after punch, each more damaging than the other. She stopped for a breath and threw a last blow to it's face. She looked at the lesser Demons, they ran away in panic and disappeared. The blood covered Demon slowly desintergrated into tiny black shards and disappeared. She went to pick Mika up and walked back to the inn.
Hanna kicked the door open and brought Mika in, she was brought to the room upstairs with no words spoken. "What happened?" Charlie asked. Hannah said nothing and went back to her room. "He's gone...I can't believe he's gone." Hannah said as she sat on her bedside and looked out the window. She went out the window and climbed to the roof, sitting there, staring at the starry sky. She saw a shooting star fly by. "I wish Kyobi could be here to see this." Hannah said, lied down and closed her eyes, imagining him next to her. "Wish granted." A familiar voice said. Hannah opened her eyes and saw Kyobi's face a few inches form her own. Hannah stared at him, not blinking for almost a minute. "No you're not dreaming Hannah. I had this all along." Kyobi said and showed her the stone that brought him back to the inn, he had arrived long before Hannah and Mika did. Hannah quickly rose and hugged Kyobi tight. "Mika's going to be ok. Hakusho is dead, his castle is no more. I'd say this worked out quite well." Kyobi said. Hannah didn't reply, she held Kyobi tight and started weeping. "I missed you too." Kyobi said and smiled.
Back at the crater where Hakusho's castle used to be, the earth in the middle boiled a little. from the earth rose a scroched arm and the words. ".I.blblrlr.will.blrblr.kill.brlrbr.you.brlbelbl.all."
