I open my eyes a second time to find that night still dominates the sky. My window beside me holds a beautiful view of the moon, in all its evanescent glory. I have to look up to the moon, as my bed is on the floor. A small lamp is beside me.

It seems as the moon is taunting me, saying that I will never reach that high. Whenever I think about it, maybe I like it down here,

I start to think of the dream I just had. Was it a dream? I cannot decipher what is false anymore. I try to elude these thoughts, but they keep returning to me. The man said that the weapon was his true form. What did he mean by that? My mind starts to wrap around that idea, something about it is attracting my attention.

I remember what he said about being my watcher. I feel as I knew him, but his name didn’t come to me. I also remember the thought of him being my soul, the word watcher now comes to mind. Maybe he was a guardian protecting me from some evil. If that’s true, didn’t I just kill my guardian? He attacked me first, but he left me kill him. Somehow I get the feeling that I didn’t kill him. I bet he’s keeping an eye on me, like a watcher would.


I get a strange feeling. Something is telling me to go outside, for what reason I do not know. I pick myself up and stretch, I’m still tired as hell. If weird stuff is going to happen, can they do it during the day? I’m too tired for this,

Each step I take on the wooden floor summons a unbearable creaking noise, this annoys me to no end. I finally reach
