She even has firecracker colouring with the Martin- Liase red hair but Angel’s crystal blue eyes. She too has the ears, eyes and skin colour of a vampire.
She is forceful, vibrant and commanding to the point where one forgets physical size in the face of her personality. She won’t be patronized or condescended too.

She respects Grandma Ellie for her shrewdness and effective tactics but she has learned to respect her mother or at least to fake it as her father will tolerate no disrespect toward his wife…from anyone.
Angel doesn’t know what to make of her eldest; she just doesn’t understand her at all. That’s okay because her husband, Tony does and so does her uncle Ty and his mother, her Auntie (as with Ellie most of Kayli’s generation have opted to omit the ‘great’ and just go with aunt/uncle) Kayli.
It’s with Aunty Kayli and Uncle Ty and their families that Karrin feels most at home- when they’re available.

It’s her father she really listens to and craves recognition/approval from. His good opinion means everything to her and to disappoint him is her greatest fear.
