The Castle Of The Northern Lands
I walk silently through the empty halls of my northern castle. The walls carved delicately into the shapes of a thousand lost souls, forever searching for the end. I know trapping them here wont make a difference anywhere. I enjoy the pain that seeps from them when I walk by. It feels like a million sorrows weighing down on you from high above. Its heavy, but I feel no exhaustion from it. The fires that light the halls of my palace are dark and unforgiving. They are my creation. A light that makes it darker. I weigh nothing but the floors creak and complain, they are made of human bones. I have never had visitors for my land is lonely and im the only being. It crys out in pain and misery at midnight every century but I do not mind for the silence that follows just brings my land more pain.
