Ellie left a student of hers to help them train their psi and mental abilities.
He is 20 year old Abriel. He is of Asian decent but chose his a new name for himself after he was picked up by Von K. He married into the village and clan.
An orphan girl like himself, who he took on as a helper. The villages called her Yasha, demon and she was not well treated, except by Faylin and Kiko, but Faylin wasn’t around often due to her training. Yasha is part mutant and transforms into a large and powerful were cat when threatened or frightened. The villagers bar Kiko and Faylin thought she was cursed. Yasha looks fully human except for being pale haired where the other villagers are dark and dark purple eyed where their eyes are dark.

The villagers didn’t torment Faylin because Faylin was Kiko’s granddaughter/trainee and heir… and no one can match her skill, speed, control and strength.

Little Yasha had no such protection even when it became quite clear that Faylin was treating and training her like a younger sister. Faylin and Kiko were the only ones not afraid of her.

Her mother was taken but managed to make it back to the village. She wasn’t treated well either because she been turned, though she fought it. She called her little daughter Kym and lived until she was 4.
The mother, Tyra, was slowly dying, as she wouldn’t hunt the way her blood urged. She used her talents, untrained as they were and with the aid of Kiko, to put a seal on her daughter so her mutant father couldn’t track her.
She begged Kiko to watch for her daughter, as she wasn’t going to be around much longer.

Faylin has always treated Kym like a younger sister and called her by name. She is the only one. Kiko calls her child and the other villagers call her Yasha.
Faylin was 11 when Kym was born.
