It took them a little longer than I expected to get to the castle. They must have been trying to regroup, the first tactically smart thing they have done so far. The main doors slammed open as the marched in, two single file lines. Just like they didn't expect their precious powder to explode, they did not expect a being such as I to be waiting there to dispatch them all. I hid up high in the ceiling supports and waited for all of them to enter. There were only about 200 that entered, the rest remained outside. I used the supports to move stealthly about and closed the doors behind them. None of the torches were lit and only a few window shutters were open so it was near pitch dark inside. The soldiers quickly began panicking franticly trying to open the doors up but failed in their haste. I colud see perfectly fine in this darkness. Leaping from my perch, I landed in the frightened crowd and began my assault. One by one I ended their lives. I'm sure their screams of terror could be heard from outside the castle, striking the same fear into the soldiers who waited on the other side of the doors. As I hoped, it was an effective deterent which caused the soldiers outside to flee. After I dispatched the last of them, I lept to an open window to watch the remaining soldiers depart. As expected, i was flawlessly victorious.
