During the rule of King Norlias I
My place at this time was behind the throne of the king. It is rather dark behind the throne so I could not be seen. I was as small as a human child and wore a black hooded cloak to match the shadow that I stood within. I also learned that I was a secret, only royal family members knew of my existance. Every day, I woke up at th sun's rising and waited at my place for his majesty to sit on the throne. i would knock twice upon it so he would know that I am there. There, I patiently wait for any attempt on my lord's life or any orders he may have for me. At noon I was released to the wood for lunch. During my absence, the king would double the amount of guards. It seemed unnecessary though...there weren't as many assassins as i thought there would be...
