Adara's, thoughts, stories and rambles.
Who is actually reading these?
Your...in....troUBle...
It was a blistering cold night. They both had bomber jackets lined with fur as they went off to do their job. Stepping outside of the warm trailer the two looked up, puffing out smoke as if they were smokers, and looked up at the big stone building. To get the size of this building, I could easily swallow the Smithsonian and the Field museums with ease. It was built in the the old Greek style stone building with the columns in front. They would be wrapped in pretty cloth streamers or garland depending on the holiday or event. It had stairs walking up to the massive stone building stopping at the pillars. The top middle was a triangle as if it was a palace and the roof had different domes of stained glass to create a breathtaking ambiance in the main area.

Stepping in they both got a chill that shocked through their spines as if ice water was jetting up over their spinal cords. It made the two jump a little and look at each other. "What was that? Your Japanese and in tuned with s**t like this." "You don't want to know?" "Works for me." They both maned up and stepped in quietly turning on their flashlights. Everything was ruined, even the domes were broken, shattered to never be fixed again. Polanski, the day watchman, told them of the great fire in there. How a Richard Hamm had set it on purpose, killing 1450 people for what seemed the enjoyment of it all. How for some reason the only thing that was left was the mirrors. Instantly the cops red flags went off, screaming at them that something was terribly wrong.

The two looked around at the charred remains, the mannequins, broken shelves and display cases, what once boasted to be the single most beautiful fountain in all of New York that Central Park herself could only pale in comparison. Looking in, Trowa could still see all the change that the kids would throw in for a wish, only to be swept up and given to charity. The old man that owned the building died in the fire but was a delight for all to know, and was Richard Hamm's best friend so no one could understand why he did it. They were never on the outs. Just one day Richard snapped and did his deed. "Need change for a dollar?" "That's for charity" Heero snapped back at him. "Uh Heero?" looking back curiously "Whats up dude?" "Nothing, thought I heard something" And they walked on, Trowa now REALLY not liking this job, one bit.

Walking up to the second floor the two stopped dead as there were all the mirrors, standing tall and pretty, not one scarred by the fire. What was worse, is that not one of them collected dust like the thick blanket that warmed the rest of the building. "Trowa, this is definitely not normal." a few rude comments went through Trowa's mind but they were too good of friends to stab Heero with anyone of them. "I see that, what would do something like this?" they walked by one and didn't realize the ripple water effect as it marked them. Going to a mirror they stood and looked in. The two men were tall and proud strong men. The poster boys for the police station that they graced the presence with. Their face chiseled out, like the rest of their bodies from stone. They looked like gods as they stood there just looking at themselves.

Meanwhile, Adara's business has boomed, she doesn't really sugar coat anything, if their fortune sucks, she tells them. The people appreciate her honestly...well most of them. Azazel was called in to protect his lady as one flew over the table and if Azazel hadn't had the bond with the girl, she would be dead on the floor from a large set of hands firmly locked around her delicate neck. Every once and a while she would call him forward from the back to protect her if the dead told her 'trouble' was coming. He played the part of lover very well, never removing his helmet nor gloves but such loving touches from him to his sister, the line between siblings and lovers were starting to blur for the both of them.

When she wasn't tranced, being thrown around a room or anything horrible he didn't like, he very much enjoyed watching his sister work her majick. He never had a reading done, if her Fates were the true way then its already set, why should he know, but he was starting to get curious on them, what was becoming of them as he saw her less like his baby sister and more like the love he wanted. He always fancied himself for a same sex relationship, but here was a delicate flower that needed him. Loved him for who and what he was. The first and really only one to accept him for Shu Yin. He was wondering if she was the love of his life, but he wasn't complaining one bit. However, if she was, he was going to go way over protective mode and never let her leave his side.

Just as he got comfy behind her watching TV, her deck of tarots floated over to her, setting down gently "Your dead is saying something, my love." Stopping he wondered why he called her that. But what startled him was a shlew of cards floated in the air showing their back to the two, and Adara wasn't responding. "s**t. DAR WAKE UP!" he got up and came around horrified as her eyes were solid black, he's never seen anything like this, before. "Those damned cops." Knowing exactly what was going on but very disturbed as their bond, was gone. Her hair started flying around her as if she was in the water, her curls straightening out a bit her face, stone. "They're awake...." her clothes now mimicked her hair almost floating in water as she levitated off the ground, tilting at a 45 degree angle down to the floor as her cards patiently waited for her to tell the misfortune that awaited. Eventually her delicate hand that was now dead and gray lightly touched one of the card. "Your...in....troUBle..." she light sang out in a voice not her own.
