Shreeder's Lifestyle Here and Afar
This journal is my life, which is very crazy, and currently in Japan!
4) Sleep, Shop, Dinner, all in a day's work
So, I wake up very very late, and my homestay comes back from the pool as I go downstairs to eat breakfast. They eat lunch, I eat breakfast. lol So I have to wait till I meet Hikari at the trainstation, but I set out an hour early just in case I miss the bus or something dumb.

Anyway, the traffic is RIDICULOUS. It takes me an hour to get to the station, when I get a message from Hikari that she is gonna be really late and that I should go shopping hahahah. When a girl tells you to go shopping without her for fun, she's a keeper. So I take her advice and look at CDs and clothes and what not, and there is a guy practicing break dancing in the train station, so I watch him for a bit.

Eventually, Hikari comes running by, and we talk about which restaurant we want to go to, and I realize that either a) she isnt nearly as shy as last year, b) my Japanese has gotten much much better, or c) both. Either way, we both click immediately, and we tell jokes as we head to the restaraunt she chooses. Her friend is working there, and she is so hopeless, its hilarious. I find out that this friend is always late to class, crashed her car on the second day she got it, etc. We talked about a lot of things like that, and about Hikari's studies (they are still in college), and things. I wont write them, because that would take a while, but I find out her favorite band is Mr. Children, who just came out with a new single (she bought it already, so there goes the gift idea.). Anyway, we have so much fun trying to eat some interesting food, and she loves how I hate this one weird thing she ordered lol. For dessert, I really really want some Choco Choco thing, but all the desserts are gone except for this Mango thing, and it says

Mango (kanji kanji), and no one, including the waitress, know what the heck the Kanji mean. So we get it and call it Mango Surprise, and boy, what a surprise it is. We get these little puffs with yellow powder inside... and they have absolutely NO flavor.

So the night was a bundle of laughs, and we eat and talk till about 9-10pm, and I have a great time. I take the bus, she gets a ride home from her parents, and I plan to wake up early tomorrow for work. Its a national holiday (Umi no Hi) and all my friends have off from work, but does the news ever get a break? NO!

The rain continues to fall.
