Shreeder's Lifestyle Here and Afar
This journal is my life, which is very crazy, and currently in Japan!
2) Recap: Canadians, Clothes, and Clubbing Part 1.
Well, I wake up today and make plans with everyone to try to meet in Katemachi, but its too late, Jon's computer is broken, Michelle told her parents she was going home for dinner... my last hope was Penny. lol

So I go shopping, but am kinda startled in the mirror. I am losing weight at a record pace again, like last summer, ever since I started the dance class. Wooo. Anyway. I take a wad of cash with me to Katemachi, and I burn through 100+ dollars in an hour and a half. Yikes.

Kids Books: So I wanna learn kanji and Japanese really badly. Like... really really badly. So I go to the bookstore and... quite shyly (I felt like a retard), ask for childrens books to learn Japanese and, long story short, I come out with a History of Japan in Manga form, and a book of the worlds' funny kid stories (which I have yet to read. Maybe in America...? not a lot of time to do that kind of stuff here.)

Next stop, UniQlo, and I'm on a mission. They have a new shipment of shirts with Japanese Commercials on them, and I am 200000% positive that if I wear them in America, no one will know what they say, so I'm safe, AND they look FANTASTIC. I buy three shirts immediately and leave. Total shopping here is about 10 minutes.

So I find a hat I like and a shirt I like. Hat $20, Shirt $50. I dont know if I wanna buy them just yet.... (I come back later and grab the Shirt), but I know for a fact I want this necklace with a Key on it, so some crazy dude and a pregnant lady throw this necklace on my neck and I give them 10 bucks. I love Japan.

So, I snag McDonalds (omg I had such a craving for a Terikaki burger, you have NO idea. I smelled that McDonalds and almost ran to the register), and I notice there is a foreigner working behind the counter, and I stop in my tracks and listen in awe to her Japanese. She is obviously a foreigner, but it is fluent... and she is working in Japan. That was a real inspiration, and it came from a McDonalds. Who knew?

Next stop, Starbucks! Penny rolls around and we wait for her "friend," a huge 17 year old kid named Michael. Better yet, he just got a Huge tattoo of a Phoenix on his back, he's doing a year of high school in Japan, and his humor is retardedly sick and twisted like mine.

That means a friggin great time. The three of us hit up an Italian restaurant and yell like the boisterous foreigners we are, drink some of the worst wine of my life, and just have a great old time making fun of anything we can think of.

Long story short, Penny goes home on the bus, Mike comes to my place to clean his tattoo while I drop off my clothes. Next stop, bar hopping and clubs, but it'll be by myself cuz Mike decides to go home.

Yeehaw, let the fun begin once again in the Japanese night scene !
