Am I Broken or Just Different?
From Small to Large One Size Shows All
I really hate hearing about love. Somehow I open myself up and set myself up to hear it. The pain makes you all the more lonely. I guess I allow it because I've never known what it's like without that pain with you everywhere you go. Does it ever go away, even when you know you are the one person for another?
The thing with love is that there are so many different types. I know my friends and family love me. Some strangers may think I'm pretty but that's not love. Some people who see me may care for what could happen to me, but that's not love. At least those aren't the types of love I really want. When do you ever get what you want.
Poeple say that you must first love yourself before you can e truly loved. If that were true love wouldn't exist. People can't be perfect, it's a well-known fact. Forgiving is what makes us so speical. All animals can love, but have you ever seen anything else forgive? Sure, maybe nature forgives, but what about things we can measure and see with our own eyes, that we know for a fact exist...... but then again do we know if it exists? Is there really a mirror that fits all?

You may never get what you really want Sakura. This world is a difficult world for mankind to live in, even if its the only one. Mankind are very strange animals. Mankind is a species that fears people for what they think, whether they admit it or not. Mankind is a race that might kill you for how you feel or what you believe. Sometimes when I think about love, it seems like a real living thing itself, along with other feelings. They're beyond our control, as if they have minds of their own. Some may try to control their feelings, but that's impossble. Because they're not meant to be controlled. We all have to bear with them. And its true that people can't be perfect, unless our view of "perfect" is somewhat imperfect. But maybe the ones who tell us to love ourselves don't mean us to look at ourselves and make ourselves perfect. Perhaps to love ourselves is to instead, admit that our flaws are there and love them as much as our strengths. Because without them, we wouldn't be who we are.
