• The farthest back memory have of my home is getting ready for the trip for earth. That particular trip was my coming of age ceremony. I was to go to there to find out about western part, which I would be protecting. Unlike my brothers or the daughters of the eastern kingdom, I could not choose between where I wanted to live. I was the first daughter of the western kingdom of heaven thus I was to be betrothed to Echo, the first son of the eastern kingdom. My younger sister, Pure, would be betrothed to the second son of the western kingdom and move over there to govern the eastern kingdom.

"Fate!" my father bellowed through the hallway. "get ready faster will you? we have to be there before the western dawn!" I hurried to join him and told him I had in fact, been ready for the last half hour. he asked if I had everything and I said yes, Slice had made sure of that. Slice is my twin, thus he resembled my mother as i did. We both had the same dark wavy hair and piercing gray eyes that our mother had.My older brother, whom I didn't know, has my fathers fierce blue eyes and short white hair. He was living with my mother who lived on earth to protect. How she convinced everyone that it would be better for her to go i will never know. Slice can fill in for father now that he's eighteen. i quickly gave my twin a awkward hug and began to leave.

Be safe my brother entered my thoughts and warned me.

    You as well I replied.

my father explained to me that bonds are created naturally at birth between twins, and those who where to be betrothed. "Does that mean Echo and Slice can here my thoughts?" I asked him, horrified at the thought that my thoughts where not only my own. "Most of the time yes, but in time you will figure out how to keep them out." he replied. I went to the pier and jumped. "Get all of the flying out of your system while you can, you won't be able to fly for a while after we arrive" my father warned me as he caught up. Knowing this, I was already dreading our arrival. Then my wings would be bound and by the next day they wouldn't be more than white scars on my scarcely tanned back.

My father then alighted on a small building and told me we where on top of the building where I would be staying. He gave me the room info and gave me my apartment key. He gave me a tight hug, took off and then he was gone. I barred the roof entrance with a piece of wood and then i began to bind my wings. The binding was easy enough except for tying the end piece. I soon gave up and simply pinned it in place. Then i unbarred the door and went to find my apartment.
