• Chapter 4~Screen Name

I turned my board sideways and came sliding to a halt half way down the hill and landed on my butt. I turned to face up the hill, looking for Jason, when my vision was suddenly cut off by a wave of snow. I smiled as I swiped the snow off of my goggles and my helmet. When I smiled again I looked up into the face of who I supposed was Jason. Instead I looked up into the face of Chris. I blushed and looked down.
"What do you want?" I mumbled. "And where is Jason?" He slid down a little bit and plopped down next to me.
"Well, your buddy Jason he's being held up," he said and pointed behind him.
I shot him a look and glanced up behind me. I saw Chris's friends talking to Jason. Jason seemed to be trying to get away but Chris's friends kept pulling him back with words that I couldn't hear.
"What do you want?" I hissed at him again, tearing my eyes away from the scene behind me.
"I want to know who you are," he told me honestly. My heart skipped a beat as I looked at him. Then I blushed and looked away again. What a stupid response to just looking at someone.
"You know who I am," I said, blushing deeper.
"Can I get your cell number then?"
    "No."
"How about your screen name?" He asked pleading.
I debated that, listening to his begging voice. "OK fine. It's KelMKel76. You can remember that right?" I glanced back up to his friends and Jason. Jason seemed to be getting away from them. When he glanced back at me I nodded my head and stood up. "Look I'm here to enjoy today. Pleas leave me alone for right now."
And I sped down the slope hearing Jason right behind me and feeling Chris's eyes burrow a hole in my back.
