The night was cold. She was cold, extreamly cold. Her father looked at her concern lurked in his eyes. he knew she knew. Myia would never Change into one of the pack. Her father turned on her. Myia weeped.
    "Save your tears for later."
she looked up. Her father looked sad about ready to cry. Myia knew that her father expected more from her than what she gave him. He had set a higher moral standered for her than the rest of her eight brothers. Her father threw her the clothes on the back of the bench. She got up.
"Why, Father," she screamed, "why can't I Change I want so bad to Change!" Her father looked at her utterly defeated.
"Don't try to fource nature," he simply stated, "don't try to fource nature." Then went back into the house.

    Chapter one: Wolf Moon

    Monon town, 2009

She looked at Josie. They both looked grim. Josie's parents went out to the war and Josie's father was killed and her mother was being sent back to america wounded from battle. Myia still had her family. She tried to comfort Josie, but Josie just shook her off. Myia never said a word to her after that.
"Don't try to fource nature, Josie, my father said that to me." Then Myia went off home. Her mother was there with an afternoon snack. Myia took it. Then she went up to her room. Michael met her up on the landing. He looked at her.
"So," he said, "what's the story on Josie?"
"NON OF YOUR DANM BUISNESS!" Myia screamed. Michael backed up. Myia stormed into her room. There was one missed call on her answering machine. She pressed play.
"Hey, Mai, it's me, Mike, hey I just wanted to clairify with you that that camping trip we are taking to the mountains next week well it's moved to THIS saturday so tell your mom OK well I'll see you this saturday." s**t, myia thought, I can't go this saturday. Myia's mom came into the room.
"Myia, I just wanted to tell you about that camping trip THIS saturday I talked to your dad you can go." Myia jumped up and hugged her mom.
"Thanks, mom, thanks-a-bunch." Myia ran out of the room grabbed her phone and called Mike. He picked up on the third ring.
    "Hello?"
    "Mike, it's me."
    "Hey, Mai, what's up."
"Nothing much my mom said I could go camping this weeked."
"Thant's good to hear, I mean I would put up a fight if you couldn't go, but that's good." Right then Myia's father stepped into the room.
"Mike, I gotta go see you this saturday."
"OK bye." They both hung up. That night Myia couldn't stop talking about the camping trip THAT saturday.

Saturday, North White High School Parking Lot, 2009
Myia was the first one there. The bus wasn't even there, yet. She had called Josie but she didn't even return the calls and calls she had left. Mike showed up. Dressed in Boot-leg Jeans and an 80's top Mike was ready to go.
"Yo, b***h, you ready to go."
"Hell yeah." They did their secret BFFL hand shake. Which consisted of many complicated moves and rythm one "NORMAL" person would never be able to get down. But Mike and Myia weren't any "NORMAL" person. No, they were LYCANTHROPES or the common term werewolves. The bus came and so did the first batch of campers. They got in and off the buss went.

Mountains wizzed by as the buss went its little way up through the mountain side. Myia looked at her cell phone. No service, she thought, well that is just great.
"Worried about Josie? Aww don't worry about her, Myia, she is just upset. You know how her mother is, don't you?" Myia looked at Mike and nodded.
"I just feel bad that Josie won't be going on the camping trip. I have already called the School Office and they said ALL the busses have gone and Josie isn't on ANY of them."
