• I stared at the purple night sky, stunned by how beautiful it was. It was a little disappointing though, since the moon wasn't out. But it was still beautiful. I looked down, suprised that I didn't even notice that my ipod had died on me. I took the headphones out of my ears and continued to look at the sky.
Then, for some reason, I heard a tap on my air conditioner. I poked my head out my window, and saw a figure, a boy, sitting on my air conditioner. What the hell was a teenage boy doing sitting on my air conditioner?! I decided to curse him out, then I started to think of possible reasons why he might be sitting there. Maybe he was planning to jump but had second thoughts about his life. Or maybe he was a stalker, always watching my every move. Or, maybe, he was just plain crazy. Or all of the above.
I decided, maybe if I act crazy myself, I would scare the crap out of him and he would leave me alone. But wait... what if I don't scare him and he likes the fact that I'm insane decides to be friends with me? Or, what if I actually DO scare him and he jumps off and some random witness thinks I pushed him? Both would really suck. Then a simple answer came to my head. Just call the police.
I tried to sneak away from the window quietly, but then I accidently knocked over an empty mug on my window sill. It fell to the floor, under the radiator. I looked up quickly at my A.C., and there he was, staring at me. I wanted to say something, but I couldn't think of anything to say.

"Good evening. Lovely night, isn't it?" he said. He sounded pretty polite for a crazy person.

"Yeah... um, who are you?" I asked. A smirk spread on his face.

"The guy who makes your dreams nightmares. And you are?" He replied, being all sarcastic and what not. I returned the smirk.

"Oh, so YOU'RE the Boogie Man. Nice to meet you. Well, my name is The Chosen One, I'm 100,018 years old, my origin is unknown, and umm..."

"Oh now you're getting sarcastic with me now?" He asked.

    "I'm just playing along."

"Ok, well my name is Dean."

    "I'm Luna."

"Nice." He smiled. Now that I got a good look at him, he was pretty hot. He looked about my age, 18 or 19, something like that. He had black flat hair that dropped to his neck, pale skin, and gorgeous green eyes. People say that MY green eyes are nice, but his? Goddamn.

"Soo... do you always sit on my a.c.?" I asked him. He shook his head no.

"I sit on other people's a.c.'s too. This is actually my first time sitting on yours. It's a nice view here though." He said, turning his head back to the sky.

"Uh huh... So how did you get up here? This is the top floor of the whole building." I asked.

"Oh, I can fly. It's really fun, you should try it." He said. Back to the crazy theory.

"Ok. I'll keep that in mind when I grow wings. Please tell me you're just a figment of my imagination, right?"

"Depends, if I say yes, will you forget me?" He asked.

"No, it would be kind of hard to forget someone sitting on your air conditioner. Even if they are imaginary."

"Hmm... ok then. Invite me inside your apartment."

"Oh, sure. Why don't you come inside and have some coffee? Oh and here's a crazy idea! Let's trade numbers and pretend we aren't total strangers!" I said, sarcasticly again.

"Thanks, great idea!" And with that, he kicked the air conditioner in and climbed in through the window. My jaw dropped.

"Y-you just broke my air conditioner!" I stuttered. Run for the phone, I thought.

"Yeah, sorry about that. Anyway, now that I know you can't forget me, you have two choices. Choice number one, you come with me and live a whole different life, better than this one. And choice number two, you won't forget me and sooner or later you'll have to tell someone about me, and I can't take that risk. I'll have to kill you. Your choice." He said, his face going serious.

"Look dude, I don't even know you. And to tell you the truth, you're kinda freaking me out. I think I'd rather die." He looked surprise.

"Really? Why?" He asked. The nerve of him. Does he really need a reason?

"Because, I have nothing to lose, really." I said. I didn't want to go all specific with the details, with my mother, with school, with my uncle...

"Huh, well, I don't really feel like killing anyone tonight." He said, his smile coming back.

    "Huh?"

"You're coming with me!" He said. He grabbed me by suprise and we flew out of the window.

"Woah! Ok, you're really freaking me out now! Put me down!" I yelled.

"Nah, I don't feel like it."

    "What is wrong with you?!"

    "Relax, we're almost there!"

    "Where?"

"Down there!" He said pointing down to the sewer.

    "In the sewer?!"

"Stop complaining!" We drooped down to the street, right in front of the sewer. "Ladies first." He smiled.

"Hell no! Over my dead body!"

    "Don't tempt me."

"You'll have to force me to go in there!"

    "If you insist!"
