• The b***h and the Blossom

After reaching the cave Sasuke stares back at the village in a pondering manner. “Juugo! Come help me gather firewood!” “Right,” Juugo responded.

“Hey! Sasuke!? You’re going to leave me here with Hozuki!? You know I can’t stand him!” Karin Bellowed. “Karin, you need to learn that in life you can’t always smell the roses.” Hozuki huffed. “If I’m the b***h I want to know what he titles that Forehead Monster!” “I wouldn’t take it to a personal level Karin. That is Sasuke’s business.” Juugo scolded sneaking back up from his firewood search.

Sasuke came from behind him dropped and the organized the wood, then performed quite a weak Fireball Jutsu and walked away from the group gazing at the starry sky. “I think we should leave him alone for a while.” Juugo said sternly. Hozuki and Karin looked at him a bit of fear in their eyes knowing that when Sasuke’s pissed or actually thinking about something you stay away or die.

‘Don’t get into trouble, Sasuke.’ Juugo sounded in his head as he looked at the sky.

“Good night Naruto-kun!” Sakura said happily as she saw him off from the Haruno Mansion. “Don’t forget to bring Hinata to her appointment! I want to the delivery to be as safe as possible!” “Of course Sakura-chan, I’m sure she’ll want to visit for a couple nights here at the mansion with you. Good night Sakura-chan!” Naruto shouted quite happily to his sister. Soon Naruto was out of site and Sakura closed the mansion gate and went inside to ready herself for some much needed rest. That is until…

Sakura cocked her head as a knock at the mansion door sounded once again. Cautiously she unlocked and opened the door. “Naruto-kun, is everything okay?” He walked right in the door, closed it and locked it.

“Sakura.” He whispered as he held her, squeezing her to his body. Sakura turned as red as the ripe cherries on the trees outside. “Naruto-kun!?” He scooped her up bridal style and carried her to the master suite. Sakura was frightened as he held her by her waist pressing his chest to her back. Her confused eyes revealed in the mirror him inhaling her perfume from her neck like it was a drug . Was this really Naruto? “Will you stop giving me that glare, Sakura? You’re so annoying.”

She quickly spun out of his arms, shock and realization on her face. “Why are you here!? Get out of my man-!” She was cut short as his lips crashed against hers. He bound her wrists so she would not be capable of hurting him. A tear trickled from his eye and fell to her cheek and when a wind blew in the window a tall dark-haired man with a body of a god stood before her, the only difference was, gods can’t cry, but Sasuke Uchiha can.

Sakura found herself being gently laid back into her bed. A part of her told her to find an escape, but another told her to hang in there as she watched the emotionally broken man in front of her have an endless flow come from his tear ducts. It was a cool evening and the gown she had worn for the ceremony was quarter-sleeved. Sasuke practically shoved his head into her chest as he sniffled and coughed and clenched the top of her gown. “Hold me.” Sakura hesitated. “That wasn’t an option that was an order.” He stated strictly through sobs.

Sakura practically crushed his body to her. She felt overwhelmed by her old teammate’s tears, the teammate she loved. She couldn’t help but pity him. `He wasn’t loved enough.’ She howled inside as she squeezed him tighter and began to kiss his tears away and affectionately run her fingers through what she now realized to be quite dirty locks. In fact, his whole body was covered with dirt and grime.

‘No wonder he’s crying, hygiene being denied this long would mentally bring anyone down.’ “Sasuke-kun?” she whispered gently in his ear. He seemed to have calmed quite a bit. “Yes, Sakura?” he said in a comforted manner as a child would to its mother after being tucked in for bed.

“Are you hungry, How about some tomato soup and grilled cheese?” She asked kindly with a smile. “And your more than welcome to help yourself to a steamy shower! I have plenty of robes!” Sasuke suddenly sat up in the bed hunched a little as he held the blossom close. “Thank you, Sakura.”
