• Mercedes wakes up ans sees the sun shining through her window. it has been two days since she met disaster. she got up and went down stairs. since no one was awake she wanted to go on a walk through the forest. she grabs an apple and leaves.

    " ah. so peaceful". she says to her self. everything was peaceful and the sun was shining. that all changed when she heard a noise in the distance." And i though today was going to be peaceful". she says grabbing the small dagger in her boots. "who's there". she yells. she hears nothing but feel some one grab her shoulders. "let go of me unless you want your life ended right now"she says. "relax it's me." he says. "disaster you scared me." she says turning around. " I'm sorry i didn't mean to" he says "it's fine just please don't do that again" "i wont" "what are you doing in the forest anyways?" Mercedes asks still with the dagger in her hand. " i was exploring." he answers. "oh" she says as it starts pouring. " i need to get home". Mercedes start walking home but disaster grabs her hand. " i hope to see you again" he says then he kisses her on the cheek softly then leaves. Mercedes start blushing but starts running home she she wont get soaked.

    "I'm home. she says walking into the kitchen. "how ways your walk Mercedes". Lydia asks
    as Mercedes sits down. "peaceful in tell it started raining." " that's odd it usually doesn't rain in tell after the red moon." Kale says. Kale was Mercedes twin. Lydia was the youngest. " Mercedes i hope your ready to leave in five days" their father says. " I am" she says. " this year i wont be going with you" he says "what! why not?" Mercedes says. "Because your 21 its time for you to go alone". "fine ill go make sure i have everything" she says getting up. "Not in tell you eat" her mother yells. "fine." she says eating.

    after she eats she goes into her room and packs everything she'll need. her sword, healing gem and puts her journal on her desk. she starts writing in it. after a while she closes it and lays down on her bed. she falls asleep and has the best dream of her life
