Come on South Updrift!" The Announcer shouted! "Come on South Updrift!" Sandy smacked her horse with her riding croup to make her pass the other horses in her way. "South Updrift is neck and neck with Midnight Light! It's a photo finish anddddd... South Updrift wins!"

...u give alot of detail in ur summary but, theres not much 2 go by in the 1st paragraph. it sounds like a good mid section but, not the greatest 4 the opening. ur trying and thats good
