• <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<chapter one: Memories>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

As a child Litch grew up under the rein of the ice king. At the age of 14 he walked down from his room to go into the mines as he did every day. But as he crept closer he saw the walls spattered with blood and as he crept further down he saw one shadowy figure run out of the house.

As he took the final step to the bottom, a knife was darted over his head from behind. He hesitated at first to look behind, but soon enough he did and he couldn't make out the man since he was dressed in all black but Litch ran to get the knife. The man was right behind him Litch grabbed the knife and stabbed the man repeatedly untill he was but a pile of slitted bones and a head.

Litch made sure not to mark his face because he wanted to know who had done this to his family. When he carefully removed the hood made of the finest black silk he revealed the gory truth. His brother had slaughtered his family. Litch knew he was unstable but he didn't for a moment believe him to be this far gone.

Litch tried to forget that day. But three years have passed and it is still forever on his mind. He is 17 and now wakes at this moment. Litch walked down the stairs which would always remind him of that day three long years ago. The reason him and the others under the king's rein would go into the mines is to find no more than a myth, but the king insisted they mine.

As Litch walked into the mine which was only a few yards from his cabin he saw something glisten in the twinkle of daylight. After he was in the mine fields he grabbed it, and there it was, what was called a myth had been found. The pearl of his ancestors, the Drako pearl.

Now Litch had to decide what to do with it, he could give it to the king and make him even more powerful than before, or he could see what happens after a day of having it. At first he was hessitating to decide but he knew that making the king more powerful than before wasn't an option.

After leaving the mines his hands were more sore than ever. His friends had said every day even after his first day they said "oh the first day isnt the hardest the second is." and it went on and on. He did some math the next day. "if i have been here for four years that means ive been here one thousand four hundred and sixty days." he kept saying "the one thousandth four hundred and sixtyith day is the hardest." which wasn't really true.

The day after finding the pearl which would really be called today Litch went into the mines know 100% sure he wouldn't find the pearl. He knew that today would feel as if forever. After leaving the mines he crept up the stairs into his room. He had never felt safe walking up the stairs even though it had been three years the memory was as solid in his head as concreate.

The next morning he wasn't in his room. He was in a tent on ground that seemed to breath. The leather it was made from was stretched so thin you could see through it. He could make out somwhere around ten to twenty figures, each where about seven feet tall and there was one in the middlt preaching to them.

as he crept out of the tent he realized they were trolls.
